The mailman just delivered this little beauty a couple of hours ago.

^Great purchase, it sure looks mint. Is she load-and-go or you need to have it serviced? Reguardless it sure looks stellar!

Everything seems to be working, but I need to replace the light seals.

I didn't even have to clean it before I snapped these pics, most of my auction-site buys are pretty dirty when I get them, but not this one.

Oh frabjous day, a contax IIa color dial with last version f 1.5 sonnar with perfect glass for $75 at a yard sale and whoa baby it workswith a great rangefinder and the shutter speeds sound great.

^What an amazing find! That is a legendary garage sale find. Pictures when you can!

I just bought a mint condition 100mm f4 Ziess telephoto lens for my Werramat. This was the first adjustable camera I ever bought when I first got started in photography in 1961 and I still love this little camera.

picked up a leica m4-p last week. so far it has been a pleasure to use...

Last bought a C/V 35mm F2.5 Color-Skopar PII used, a truly great lens at a great price. Small as hell, almost look a little weird on my M5.

Here in Memphis we have a large antique mall that's going out of business at the end of this month to make way for yet another dollar store -- go figure. Recently, while making my last series of definitive visits to the place, I picked up a nicely clunky Agfa Agfamatic IIS for under $20. I decided to run a test roll fully on automatic, to see whether the selenium light meter worked. Although the rangefinder could use a wee adjustment, everything turned out properly exposed and sharp! I was rather surprised! I only wish the ISO went higher than 200.

Just recently bought my first Leica. Got an M6TTL with a Voigtlnader 35mm 1.4SC  love it!

Also love using my old Kodak Retinette with the 45mm Schneider 2.8!

My Karomat has "evaporated"....

I'm afraid I'm becoming a collector....

I've just ordered an Agfa Ansco Karomat with the f2 Schneider Xenon lens, in a Compur MX shutter. At the price I paid I could hardly let it pass; that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Well, the vendor had a "computer problem" and the Karomat was sold over a week before I "ordered" it but the listing wasn't corrected. Waaaaah!

Just got a Minolta Hi-Matic 9 in the mail 4 days ago. Did some work rebuilding a buddies camera and that was the trade. Seems pretty cool. I love these things, they are great instructional cameras.

My most recent RF purchase, which I announced in this thread, had today its first foray in the field, and it already lost the "glass" covering the frame counter. True, I went to the city centre with my motorbike, but I did package the stuff with the usual maniacal excess of precaution. My Minolta X-700 did not suffer any damage. Bessa-L really seem to be cheap cameras with a limited life expectancy. I'll wait for its life cycle to be completed and then substitute it with a Leica III, I say.

Well, it seems the vendor's computer system had a glitch. The camera had been sold a week before I ordered it, but the site hadn't been updated. A full refund with apologies, but I'd been looking forward to the camera. Waaaaah!

Most-used RF!

My last rangefinder purchase was a 1950s Contax IIa with Sonnar f2 50mm lens. I bought it about 4 years ago and use it often. It takes great photos, and I've been lucky as the shutter still works fine (fingers crossed!).

Sorry to hear! That f2 lens sound amazing. If you find another be sure to let us know.

Although I'm slowly moving away from 35mm, this was a deal I couldn't walk away from. This past Memorial Day weekend I purchased (from an antique store) a Canon IV-S2 (IV-SB), 50/1.8 Canon, 35/2.8 Canon w/ Canon viewfinder, 85/2 Nikkor-P.C, 135/3.5 Nikkor-Q.C, Canon Universal Viewfinder (35-135), Canon Auto-Up I, Canon cable release, Hansa cable release and a few other goodies. All had the correct leather cases while the lenses also had the correct caps and lens shades. Everything seems to work just fine. Will soon be shooting film with it all to confirm.

Was looking for a RF camera and in my travels I came across a Rollei 35 S with the 40mm f/2.8 lens. I liked the look and feel of it at the time but now regretting the purchase (size & set-up of controls). I'll wait for a bit and maybe fall in love ;o) I sure am impressed with the photographs it does though.

Lovely Leica CL arrived this morning. What a joy to use - fits into the hand. Could do with a dioptre as my right eye is not great but it focuses perfectly. I can see this becoming my everyday user camera.
