My last RF buy was an Olympus 35RC that I had from ebay about 1 year ago. It is in pristine condition and is always in my pocket since. The lens is very good when it is closed 1 stop.

My most recent was a Yashica Minister D which I bought last November for £8. It still had a good mercury cell fitted and the meter seems accurate. The snow shots in my gallery were taken with it.

My most recent and first is my 1980 Kiev 4a, it works nicely but i think the rangefinder is misaligned a bit.

i love the handling and size, even after handling a friend M8, i still love the kiev/contax style better except maybe the viewfinder could be better..

Right now my Zeiss Ikon is in China where my daughter is living. I had to get a new FR so picked up an M9.

I started with rangefinders a few months ago with a Canon P, my last purchase is a Leica M4 that is on its way... So now I'm reloading the tracking website every five minutes or so.

After mostly shooting a Canon IVSB for a year, I upgraded to a Canon P a few weeks ago. The P is working nice, and has a great viewfinder, but isn't as fun as the IVSB as far as getting weird looks from people. The IVSB Barnack type sure gets the looks. And they both take great pictures.

Leica M3, oh my, how nice.

Sweet, Akiva! I just picked up a M4 and a sekonic l-308s. The m4 has been a dream of mine for sometime.

A combination of the rediscovery (via my scanner) of my b&w negs from the 1980's plus having some M-Series lenses led me to thinking (a dangerous pastime, I know) and the result is a step back into the analogue age - and no batteries needed.

Dead Link Removed

One of a batch made in 1964. It arrived on Thursday and I am just putting the second roll of HP5+ through it in order to check out the shutter speeds and rangefinder accuracies. Must pop up into the loft to find my Paterson tank and other paraphernalia...

I'll looking at a Kodak Retina IIIS, can't seem to make up my mind I have Minolta Himatic 7S, Canon QL17 and Retina IIc and Koni Omega Rapid M so it's not like I don't have enough cameras, just id the IIS going to be that much better than the 35s I have ?

BTW I'm looking for the 35 / 80 viewer for my Retina IIc, which is probably my favorite RF. I like the Koni Omega but getting 120 220 processed and printed has become a problem, the Ql 17 has a light leak other wise it is very fast to use, has the same problem as Hi matics meter only works in auto mode but great little cameras ! strange how I've come to enjoy useing RFs more than SLRs

Got a Contax G 90mm f/2.8 converted to M mount from Japan Exposures, love how the shots came out. (Just got around to scanning them this past month.)

Just purchased a 90 Elmar on that auction site...great price. This will replace/augment my 85 f2 Serenar which is aging none to gracefully. Will post some images when I put it through it's paces.

Wow! A Werra was my very first camera back in the mid '60's. Can't remember any great photos with it but it got me into developing & enlarging and how to set exposures. I wore it out after about 2 years and I moved up to a Mamiya/Sekor 1000TL.

I purchased a Werramatic with the standard Zeis 50MM lens.

Wow! A Werra was my very first camera back in the mid '60's. I think it cost about $30 and it was the only camera my Mom could afford. Can't remember any great photos with it but it got me into developing & enlarging and how to set exposures. I wore it out after about 2 years and I moved up to my first "real" camera--a Mamiya/Sekor 1000TL.

The IIIS takes interchangeable lenses: 28/4, 35/2.8, 50/2.8, 50/1.9, 85/4, and 135/4 from Schneider, plus a similar group from Rodenstock.

I bought a Werra for my father a few years ago and it started him collecting old cameras. The Werra was the first camera he bought when he left school and started work which would have been early sixties and was probably all he could afford too.

Quite an interesting design with the wind on mechanism around the base of the lens.

This is my first foray into 35mm rangefinder cameras (I have a Fuji GA645Zi which I love using) and I've bought a Contax G1 (green label) with the 45mm and 90mm lenses, a G1 (original version) with a 35mm lens and databack, and a G2 with the 21mm and 35mm lenses. Can't wait to receive the G2 and 21mm and put a roll of film through it. I'm also curious to check out the lenses on a Micro4/3 camera.

Bessa R3a w/Voigtlander 40mm Nokton Classic (MC) f/1.4, arrived today from Mr. Gandy. Love at first site, yep.

An Elmar 2.8/50 from 1958 … having just processed the first negatives I was pleasantly surprised, a gem of a lens.
