So I have what I believe to be a later model Yashicaflex A. I'm basing this on the fact that it has the 1/300th Copal shutter as well as the Yashikor 80mm f/3.5 lens. I cannot seem to locate a manual for this specific model, so here are my questions. 1) Is the lever with the red dot under the taking lens the self timer? If it is it's not working. 2) What is the button on the side that I have circled, 3) Is there nowhere for a cable release? and finally, what is the function of the button on the film winder?

TIA

Button rests the film counter.

Thanks!

I did find a manual, turns out it’s actually a Yashicaflex C. My only other issue now is a cable release. On other models you unscrew the shutter button, but that doesn’t seem to be happening.

You unscrew the ring around the shutter release and use a cable release with a "Leica glocke", like this: https://fk-secondhand.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/077043_leica_drahtausloeser_mit_glocke_03.jpg

baachitraka was joking above. Resetting the misspelled word.

I agree with this, about the ring around the shutter release. There's a milled ring next to the body that screws off. The same thread as used on Leica and some older Nikons, etc. It used to be easy to find adapters, but it isn't so easy anymore. There is a webpage where someone made one out of a Schrader tire valve cap.
