Ok,
I received the F100 a couple of days ago. Will be running some film through it on Friday. The camera is definitely "Like New". I would be hard pressed to point out one flaw on it having had a couple of days to look it over. Really looking forward to learning this camera.
Today I received the "BGN" N90s from KEH. All I can say is AMAZING. I paid $38.95 (Included shipping) for this "Bargain" camera. It came today, packed superbly. This camera was definitely NOT used to drive nails. The rear rubberized coating is totally intact, cannot even see any wear marks on the gripping surfaces. A few VERY minor scuff marks, hardly noticeable - the type you might expect from the camera being slid into and out of a camera bag a few times. I hesitate to even call them scuffs, just slightly lighter colored areas. I can find hardly a blemish on the painted surfaces. Two or three minuscule paint nicks on the edges of the viewfinder. The camera is very clean, and if I were to guess, I may say it was a display model in a serious camera shop (not a Best Buy or the like).
My only thought as to why this camera was rated a bargain, and even on sale at that, is that they have an overabundance of them in stock. As long as it works when I try it out this Friday, I will be one very happy camper with these two purchases. My confidence and admiration for KEH has increased tremendously, and the forum member here who sold me their F100 also gave me a great bargain.
Thank you all for your advice and counsel. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute some useful advice in the future for others.
