Thanks, in my experience this is particularly true when they follow their light meter reading blindly without giving it any thought before setting their exposure.Bonza! A very good way of putting it.

makes sense...K also works for anyone who's got an old soviet meter using GOST: for 'калибровка.'
just kidding, really I just wanted to try my Cyrillic keyboard function.
I'm not sure about the "most trustworthy" meter. All the high quality meters are trustworthy, Pentax, Minolta, Gossen, Sekonic. Some even trust the old Weston better than the modern meter.
As we all said, metering only gives a guide. It is only a tool. There are many tools and I do not need all of them to do one job.
