My solution is to use my DIY LED-based enlarger, with an exposure time of 1/30 second. Its microcontroller can accurately drive the LEDs at such short times.
I raise the head high enough so that light is uniform enough across the Stouffer step-wedge.
But the problem @dkonigs mentioned of the spectrum of the light-source still remains: My LED lamp has only red/green/blue, so I can only crudely approximate a D65 (or whatever) light source.
I suppose I could hack a D65 LED onto the controller, and clamp it to the enlarger's lamp.
