You might open it up to take a look at the sliding contact under the lens mount bayonet. I just fixed a couple of Nikkormat bodies with same problem and this was the cause.
I have chrome XD-11s and a Black XD, Blk XD-7, Blk XD-11 already, but didn't think another one would hurt.If the XD-11 had a higher speed (it is capable of higher speeds,but limited to 1/1000) it would have made a bigger mark than it did.It is a great camera.John, I picked up a very clean FT3 last year -- so I'll keep my eye out for a jumpy meter when changing shutter speeds. Thanks for that tip.
Fstop, I can sympathize. The XD-11 is a superlative camera. I own one in chrome, but I'll admit to a quiet lust for a clean example in black.
I like my M5 very much. Not the most popular Leica, but still a fine camera.Most recent is a leica M5 and an oly XA4

Olympus FTl with 50mm 1.8, 135 mm 3.5 and 35mm 2.8 (10 euro!!!!!!!!!!!)
