I would classify it as a TLR. A very special TLR. But why is the handle resting on a leather filter case?? Interested readers want to know!

Without the reflex back, the image is upside down and backwards, in it's basic form I think it is a TLR. ,

TLR has a mirror, that is the reflex part. In its native state, it has no mirror, so only a TLR a with the reflex or prism finder attached. It is resting on the filter case because it will not balance on the knob that attaches the handle, unless I spin it very, very rapidly.

I would like to find the wide and Tele lenses, but they will probably cost more than I paid for the camera.

Left out I don't think it is a TLR.

Let us know how well it works for horizontal landscapes.

Bessa r3m and a brand new Nocton 40mm f1.4

A Leica M5. After 40 years of avoiding Leicas I finally succumbed. It's weird enough to keep me interested. Whether it can ever replace my late lamented plain prism Nikon F remains to be seen. Trouble is it's mint and I hate scratching cameras that have survived in perfect condition longer than I've been taking pictures.

Just delivered...

A beautiful Zeiss Ikomat 530/16 from the US to Australia.
I really appreciate the great communication and prompt delivery from Joe Jesus on APUG

Agfa Silette 6 for £1. First Agfa I've ever bought.

All in very good condition, apart from the rapid wind film lever which only returns half way and needs a nudge, apparently quite a common little fault.

These cameras seem underated, but it seems a nice little work horse.

Some may recognise the supplier Wallace Heaton, bought out by Dixons.

Oh dear, have I found another make to collect, well I did have a mini clear out

I've the budget Nettar, even at the lower end of the range it gives good results and I get nice comments from people in the street who see it.

Thank you for the encouragement...
Looking forward to a new experience,

Minolta auto-wide 28mm. Great camera, always loved this focal length, and the lens is a great one. Downside is it's the size of a fairly big focaccia sandwich. Upside is it only cost as much as said sandwich --7.50 -- and works perfectly.

Have not heard of the auto-wide before. Have a pic?

I swore off getting anymore cameras but for $175 from KEH in EX condition, I couldn't pass it up. It got here the other day and the meter is even spot on with several other cameras. Nothing like the F2 Photomic...in black.

Those Nikon's look nice, I've never owned one myself. I just picked up this mint Baby Rolleiflex. I took a chance on eBay, the price was good but the seller didn't know if it was working. Sure enough when I got it the shutter wasn't closing all the way. I thought it may have something to do with the shutter release button so I squirted some lighter fluid down the shaft of the button and now it works perfectly. Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to cut down 120 film for it.

It's a beauty. I've got one on my wanting list.

About cutting the film, I saw once a man using a cigar cutter to do this.

Take a deep breathe, pick up the telephone on Monday, call KEH and ask them what else they have for you. :whistling:

I've been researching the various methods and the only thing that worries me about the cigar cutter is that it doesn't seem like it would be very accurate. I would worry about fogging on the edges if it's cut too short or not fitting the reel properly if it's too long. There is a metal cutter that someone sells on eBay that looks pretty good but they want $85 for it. I have a few ideas in my head to make something similar.
