A TDC Stereo Colorist!

Neat thing about this one was that I did not have to buy it. I won it in a raffle, complete with film.

It joins my two Stereo Realists, a Stereo Graphic, a Sputnik (which proved to be nothing but trouble), and the d****** stereo camera that never did prove to be as useful as I thought it would be, though I've used is to take this picture of the Colorist .

I checked the camera out. Lenses crystal clear, electronic flash sync at all speeds, and lenses that seem to be pin sharp to the corners wide open when tested with wax paper at the film plane.

How do you get three photographs with a stereo camera?

Where do you plug in the headset?

A very pristine Nikon FA SLR! I got it for $5.00 at the American Cancer Society store! I just picked up a nice camera bag too, for just a few dollars! It's all for a good cause, plus, I feel like I can help people that are going the the situation I went through, when my daughter developed cancer at age 16! Than God for the wonder doctor's and staff that helped save her life!

Not really that old....around 1955, I think. I picked up this Smena 2 for fun. It's sort of a funky camera but I thought it might be fun to tote around with for quick shots. I loaded it with Kodak Gold 100 (I think...it's 100 asa Kodak color anyway).
It will be interesting to see what I can produce with it. I'm almost hoping for light leaks and funky bokay in bad lomo style.

Canon sure shot WP-1 from Goodwill on my way home from work. Looking forward to summer afternoons at the pool with the grandsons for some underwater shooting.

Dynax 5 with standard kit lens and a Dynax 7000i with a 28 to 200 lens.

Just added a Contax TVS because I needed a small film camera. (Well, for a given value of "need", I guess... :D )

Another XK, looks like it was never used. Everything works perfectly. If it had the box and papers it could be considered new unused.

Another Praktica, this time a like new PLC3 with a fully working meter.

I just love them from the L series right up to the BC1.

I know they are frowned upon by some and I suppose I could afford to buy something more " upmarket" if I wanted to.

But, when considering their so called unreliable reputation only one has ever let me down with a faulty meter.

The real advantages of Prakticas to me are:-

1. No gummy light seals to replace.

2. A strong metal shutter, no cloth here.

3. The position of the shutter release suits me.

Ha! Another Praktica - a Praktica-mat from 1965 - 67. Excellent cosmetically and mechanically but the meter doesn't work so needs a little investigation. Apparently a little unusual as it was soon replaced by the Super TL. Couldn't resist it for £5.

Nice One Steve.

Glad I'm not alone in my liking of Prakticas.

I've noticed on ebay that some models prices have started to increase, particularly the BCX for some reason?

An MTL3 was my first SLR, when I was about 14. Still got it. Going to get a hearing aid battery and give it another go.

They were certainly popular in the UK way back.

The film loading system is very clever too.

I've got the newer smaller BC1 and B200 but I do prefer my older shape L series, although big and heavy I find them more user friendly.
