Just took delivery of a folding Kodak Retinette camera - not sure of which model just yet. Struggling to see much difference between a Retina and a Retinette.

Just received a beautiful, perfectly working Minolta SRT303. The top plate is brand new and the electronics for the meter is adjusted for 1.5v batteries. A SRT102 was my very first camera back in '74 and I still have a soft spot for older manual focus Minolta equipment. Now I just need 28/50/100mm lenses and I'm all set.

Just received my great-grandfather's beater Nikon FE with 24mm f2.8 lens. I'm stoked that I got to keep one thing (even if it wasn't his Linhof or Hassy... Those were stolen while he was on assignment). Can't wait to get some film in it and keep the tradition alive.

A NIB/NOS Mamiya C330S TLR body, plus all seven latest model blue-dot lenses, ranging from EX+ to mostly LN- condition.

Plus as-new Mamiya hoods for all. The 55/65mm accessory parallax viewing plate. Filters. Paramender-2 parallax-correcting tripod mount. And a pair of diopter correction close-up lenses for flip-down critical focusing. One correct for my eyes now, plus the next one in line for the future.

Camera appears never used. Lenses sparingly. Camera came with original box, packing inserts, warranty, and manual. All that was required was foam light seal replacements and ground glass foam replacement. Jon Goodman came to the rescue with his best-in-the-business pre-cut foam kits.

Can't wait for better weather and some rare free time.

Nikon F100 from KEH. Wow! Always wanted one and when my N80 needed service I decided to spend the money on an F100 instead!

I just came home from Goodwill where I paid $35 for a Lowe-Pro bag with:
- Pentax K1000 camera in good working order (possibly needs light seals, not a problem I can fix that)
- SMC Pentax 2.8/ 28mm lens with skylight filter in good working order
- Auto Chinon 1.9/ 50mm lens with skylight filter in good working order
- Small flash Suntax 16A that I don't care about
- 5 Kodak Gold 200 films (24 exp) - out of the box, not sure how old they are
- 1 Kentmere 400 BW film (24 exp) - out of the box, not sure how old but has a better chance to work than the color film.
I'm having fun now cleaning up these goodies and replacing the light seals.

It shouldn't be more than 5 years old. Kentmere range of films were only introduced in 2009. See the threads here in this forum.

Nikon F3 (with DE-2) to add to the MD-4 I picked up at a charity shop.

Turns out my F3 (1992) is newer than my F4 (1989).

Try one of the rolls of Kodak, see what happens. I've shot film which was ten years out of date before now, the results were certainly usable.

I bought a similar lot a couple of years ago on ebay. No photos, just some vague wording, so I asked the seller what else it said on the camera apart from "Asahi Pentax". For £27 I got:

Genuine Pentax bag (which looks a lot better now it has been through the washing machine and had a badge clipped over the cigarette burn)
Pentax KX with SMC Pentax 55/1.8 (needed new light seals and the self timer was stuck, but started working after wiggling the lever for an hour or so)
Vivitar 75-205mm f3.8 zoom (sticky aperture, pulled the back off and cleaned the blades, it worked perfectly afterwards)
Jessops-branded flashgun with bounce/zoom head, which seems to be a rebadged Vivitar
Sunpak GX14 flash with calcified gunk over the contacts, chipped that off and it works.

I'm currently testing a 99p Pentax MG. It was grimy, jammed, and had the usual fault of a cracked viewfinder surround. After some cleaning, gluing the viewfinder back together and unjamming it (just needed a good smack against my palm to make the second shutter curtain drop fully, after which I dry fired it about sixty times with no problems) it's not a bad example. Have shot the first frame of a 36 exposure roll and will rattle through the rest over the next week or two. I already had the period-correct plastic version of the M 50mm f2 to go with it.

Balda Super Baldini - West German Balda from 1950s. That is the rigid front version, not a folder.

I have several pre-war folding Baldas and I rather like them. I used to have a mid-60s Balda which was cheap tat. I am hoping this one more closely resembles the pre-war standard.

My newest old ......

Me well I'm putting' my newest to me Minolta 303-b thru it's paces. A wonderful bit of fun. Easy handling piece of hardware. All controls in easy to get to places, a new battery and the meter works just fine. My current lenses are the Minolta & Vivitar 28mm's, but I do have others from my small collection.

TIE:

Canon A2
Nikon N70 (both with kit lenses)
Ricoh FF-3

All three for not much over $60. Each looks like it's had fewer than 10 rolls of film through it.

Also, I sent my Nikon FM, which I purchased in new in 1978 in for repair. Can't wait to get it back. Have a nikon 105 f/2.5 that I got for $80 on the way. I think they'll get along just fine!

Now I just have to remember how to develop film....
