Minolta srT303-b

Just got the bank statement and the question "whats this charge from dear , ,, ,,,?" Doesn't happen much these days as I stay away from most "Gosh I love this classic" camera body or lens threads. But boy do I love using this old srT. The price was right, the action is smooth, and it's built like a tank. Mine has that little "yes you have film" window. Great piece of work there, but wish it, like some others, had the mirror lockup feature, but hey you cant have everything. I'm 98% happy about the whole deal .

An unusual version of the Pentax Super A:

Pentax made a special edition set to mark the Super A being named as European Camera of the Year in 1983, containing this body (identical to a normal Super A aside from the brass disc on the front), a Pentax-A 50mm f1.7, and an AF200T flashgun. The lens cap and camera strap in the box both had suitable lettering and were unique. This lens is not original, it was lurking in the back of my gear cupboard so came out for some air! I've since received the special strap which would have come in the set, so now keeping my eyes open for the other parts.

Minolta X-700 with a 45mm f/2 rokkor! The lens is completely new, the camera is almost. Not very heavy, my OM-4 with zuiko 50mm 1.8 is more heavier.

Minolta srt 202

Minolta SRT 202. I have a earlier 200 but the mirror seals rotted so I bought this one. It has the Rokkor f 1.4 but I have a bunch of other lenses from the old set. 500 mm mirror lens, 28-70, 200 zoom, 28, 2 x & 3 x.
I dragged it out of the closet to better practice exposures and developing.
It's also being used with a flash. I never did really learn how to do that.

I have an EF and the Copal shutter is the only one Canon ever installed that they didn't make themselves, and it's blades are actually made of pure Platinum .

The Copal Square shutter was used not only by the Canon EF, but also the Nikkormat and the Topcon D-1. Yes, metal vertical travel curtains, but NOT platinum! Not even titanium.

Balda Super Baldini - West German Balda from 1950s. That is the rigid front version, not a folder.

I have several pre-war folding Baldas and I rather like them. I used to have a mid-60s Balda which was cheap tat. I am hoping this one more closely resembles the pre-war standard.

How do you like that Baldini? -they sparked my interest a few months ago but never bit the hook.

For me.. a Olympus OM1 with 50mm f1.4 Zuiko. I bought as-is for the lens. But after a parts donor was offered by a fellow APUG member, I now have a complete working camera. Paid like $40 total.

Also, picked up a Weston Master IV light meter. Really impressed by it (and I have a drawer full of meters). -May become my main incident meter for film. Thrift store $3 cant beat that.

From a thrift shop for an embarrassingly cheap price, a nice, clean little Zenit 3M with an Industar-50 lens. The camera body needs a CLA, as the shutter sticks partially open at 1/30, but the other speeds seem okay. Best of all, though, the lens is pristine, and with M39-M42 and M42-K adapters I can use it on any of my Pentax bodies (except the 645, of course).

Thanks! The camera feels good in the hand. The price as good, only con is that the focusing screen has some black specs of dirt in it, already tried to blow them, but no good and I am reluctant in cleaning the screen with a q-tip and cleaning fluid.

Zeiss Super Ikonta "C" 530/2 Folding 6x9 camera from the mid 1930s ) It's a little gem. Well used, quite battered, but light-tight and functional. Looking forward to firing her up!

Just bought an Olympus Trip 35 and a Walzflex from a Japanese auction.

It was the first time seeing the walzflex but from what I read, its a mid 50's Rolleiflex-inspired Japanese TLR.
Picked it up in great condition for about 5,000 yen. Roughly 45 USD.

We'll see how it performs!

2 Olympus stylus zoom (35-70 version). First one because it was $1.99 and the second because it was in very good condition and $2.49. I like the small clamshell design and for whatever reason, I seem to be acquiring a variety of Olympus stylus'.

I'm so weak! Just bought a N90. This makes my second N90 and my fourth Nikon. The price was to good to pass up. This will be my dedicated B&W body for landscape and nature.

A Pentax SF1N as an upgrade to my SF1.
The sound the camera makes is shameful. The "Whack!" of the shutter followed by the scream of the winder sounds like I'm beating a child.
The metering is very nice, plus auto-focus, bracketing, and real TTL flash.

I may call 35mm as intimate wide. f/2.8 is not that bad when you find f/2.0 too expensive to spend.

Not really a purchase, but both of my F2 bodies have their DP-12 finders fitted again. Had the one on my late model "main" body worked on by Sover Wong. New LED block, ring resistor, etc.

It's a disease I have trouble controlling....

Two days ago I traded two K1000 kits, (Body and 50mm F:2), and $40 for a very very clean F3HP and 50mm F:1.4.

I suppose this qualifies as a "Collection" now, though I didn't set out to collect Nikons. I now have F, F2, F3HP, three FM's (All different) and an FE.

I'd still like to have an FM2 and a DP-11 or DP-12 for my F2.
