Nikon FM3a, bought this month as a Christmas present to myself. First film camera I've owned in a long, long time.

Just got the bank statement and the question "whats this charge from dear , ,, ,,,?" Doesn't happen much these days as I stay away from most "Gosh I love this classic" camera body or lens threads. But boy do I love using this old srT. The price was right, the action is smooth, and it's built like a tank. Mine has that little "yes you have film" window. Great piece of work there, but wish it, like some others, had the mirror lockup feature, but hey you cant have everything. I'm 98% happy about the whole deal .
I have an EF and the Copal shutter is the only one Canon ever installed that they didn't make themselves, and it's blades are actually made of pure Platinum .
Balda Super Baldini - West German Balda from 1950s. That is the rigid front version, not a folder.
I have several pre-war folding Baldas and I rather like them. I used to have a mid-60s Balda which was cheap tat. I am hoping this one more closely resembles the pre-war standard.
Hey good luck with it, I had the exact same combination for a while, the 45mm is a great little lens!
) It's a little gem. Well used, quite battered, but light-tight and functional. Looking forward to firing her up!| Photrio.com contains affiliate links to products.
