I would walk 400 miles

The last 3 rolls of 135 Fuji Provia 400X in stock at my local pro dealers it 's expensive but there won't ever be any more.

That reminds me, I still have some Provia 400 in 120 lurking in my fridge!

My last film purchase was 45 rolls of 120 Provia 400, now frozen. At the rate I use it that's a multi-year bridge supply for me. So...

Go Ferrania!

It's great to read that Barney is still with Fujifilm. Decades ago, before leaving to accept a position at Fuji, he was my contact at the long-gone Ramsay Color Lab in Costa Mesa. Barney was about the most helpful and professional lab person I'd met. He not only took a personal interest in how his employer's output lived up to expectations, he even graciously offered use of the lab's densitometer before I had one of my own.

Back to the tangential topic, I'm not sure anyone will be able to use those "8x10 rolls" of film unless they cut them down into sheets in a darkroom. :D

Some of us still roll our own.

It is after 4 PM Pacific Standard Time, so not only is this offer over; the ship has pulled out of the train station and moved down the tracks; and the steam engine has sailed.

And my worn out feet got there at 4:10...

Oh well, the walk was nice and now that I know where it is I can go to Samy's at lunch and buy some film,

I can try their processing lab too.

Holy crap!!!!!

8x10!!!!!!!! Man!!!!!

Samy's is a great place, I got my carbon fiber tripod from there in 2010 on my Kodachrome adventure, before the Grand Canyon I decided to bite the bullet after carrying around my heavy metal tripod really happy I made that decision but I wish I had bought the bigger version. Thinking of upgrading...

I just... I can't believe they gave away 8x10... I'm so far away!! Not fair!!!

Today's purchase:

20 rolls of 400H
10 rolls of TMAX 400
10 rolls of ACROS 100
6 rolls of Delta 3200

All 120 size.

Most recently, a couple rolls of Ektar 100. One is loaded up in the F, and the other in one of the F2AS bodies.

Not bought myself, but a present given to me today: a roll of Fomapan 100 in 135 format and a Fomapan 100 roll film.
This is excellent film to be developed with Caffenol-C-M.

Some ancient Bromesko....should be usable with a nice slug of extra bromide in the developer. It'll probably be nice with my pinhole negs:D.

I was in Maastricht (NL) today and visited a nice photo store with quite some nice analogue items.
I bought:
Fomapan 100: 10x roll film 120 and 10x 135 format. One roll of Rollei Retro 400S to see what it is about.

I also bought Imago Positive Paper 5x7" (25 sheets) to test with my pinhole camera.

How much are you burning on shipping or gas to do these trades? Plus all that time needed to set them up. Isn't it more effective to just buy it straight out?
