What's your everyday carry camera?

For the last 12 months it's my Rolleiflex 3.5F Planar (before I got the Rollei it was the FUJI GA645).
For 35mm I grab my Konica III rangefinder with Hexanon 1:2 48mm from 1956 (though it has it's quirks un the meantime).

Like macfed, my go-to camera for the past 6 months or so has been a Rolleiflex, alternating between a 3.5E2 Type 2 Xenotar or MX-EVS Type 2 Tessar. Sadly I haven't touched 35mm since I got Rolleis in the line-up again. Both of my F2's have had film loaded since last summer, but I haven't even managed to get halfway through either one.

Funny how Rolleis can do that to people! They don't work for everyone, but when a Rollei does work, nothing better ((different, sure (down, Sirius,down!) but not better)).

a canon g9x for the digital and either an olympus mju II or a ricoh gr 1 or a contax T for the film. both fit into either side of my jeans, so I have them ALWAYS with me. so no medium format.

Leica IIIc with FED 50/3.5, although I'll often substitute a Canon 50/2.8 or Industar 61 L/D if size is not an issue. I had an Olympus 35RC which I have temporarily misplaced.

I have a number of other cameras which I carry if I have a specific target in mind, or need flash, or a wide angle or telephoto lens, or faster lens, or weatherproof. I really have too many cameras.

thats dedication! My go-to medium format is my Bronica ETRSi with waistlevel finder and 75/2.8. I love my Pentax 67, but its a bit large and heavy. My go-to 35mm changes from week to week, but at the moment it is my Kodak IIIC.

The past year, it's been a Rolleiflex 3.5F. Thinking I should shoot more 35mm to have a camera with me all the time... like the M4-2 I haven't pocketed in a long time. In the middle of a move at the moment, so it's kind of hard to even get out and shoot.

I don't carry a camera around with me everyday but when i do go out shooting, it's usually with the 8x10, or 4x5, or both, or the RB67... Or all of the above. I have the telephone camera with me everyday!

Both the Rolleiflex 3,5F xenotar or the Mamiya 6, but in my bag there is always one of my folders (the most used are the Agfa Super Isolette, Super Ikonta 6x9 or 4,5x6, Agfa record III, Agfa Isolette III, the Voigtlander Bessa II or the Bessa I, the Perkeo II and some others).

If I'm gonna carry a medium format camera as an everyday carry camera, it would have to be one of my folders. I have a few to choose from: a Zeiss Ikonta 6x6, a Super Ikonta BX, a Agfa Isolette III, and a Moskva 5. I've been using the Moskva most lately. I like that big negtive.

Otherwise, in 35mm format, I prefer something compact, like a folder but not. My Oly XA or my Oly Trip 35 or my Canon Classic 120 or even my Kodak IIc -- well, the IIc is a folder, but anyway . . .

My everyday camera that I grab just in case, is my Olympus XA. My most used camera is usually my ETRSi, but now it seems to be the Fuji GS645S I recently purchased.

A Panasonic GM-5 is always in my daily backpack, but I'm not certain when I last took a picture with it. I use a Kiev 88cm or a Hasselblad 203fe more often.

I have too many cameras. It used to be my trusty Nikon F and then I acquired a Canon F1 ("new", he says with a vague taste of bile in his mouth, given that Canon never called any variation of F1 "New"), then it was my Voigtlander Bessa R2-C (for Contax mount). Now it's a Pentax Spotmatic. Why the Pentax when I have more about 6 great Nikon SLRs? Mostly because I like the lenses. Both of my Spotmatics are failing in the film advance gear department but if I jimmy the advance mechanism as I am loading film, they can work. I'll shortly go back to Nikon and use my F, F3, F5, FE-2,, FM, or EL-2. My Mamiya RB-67 is way to heavy to carry around on my neck while the Voigtlander was perfect and I do mean PERFECT!

People here are probably tired of me writing about how my Pentax SP500 and 55/2 Super Takumar was my only camera and lens for 15 years - but that truly is all I had. At the end of that period, back in 1986, I should've never considered another camera and just concentrated on a few more lenses. But noooo......

Now, with enough cameras to rival B&H's inventory (well, B&H when they sold film cameras), I force myself to select cameras from my collection; each one getting several weeks of use as the years progress. Each one is enjoyable, but such a short experience is not long enough to thoroughly enjoy the camera.

I like the idea of carrying a Minox every day. Even then, I've come to acquire four of them.
