A second F2, this one with a working meter. Because apparently buying an entire camera body is somehow cheaper than the meter by itself.
Good news! The meter on the camera that I just got works! Bad news, the meter that was on my old camera… also works on the new camera. And neither meter works on my old camera… FUUUUU

You might laugh…. Tried to buy a photo album at W, earlier today.
Three different people I asked looked at me like I was crazy! I mentioned it to my niece, and she thought I was talking about getting a printed book with my photos…. Apparently there is such a thing today. She’s gifted various family members these sort of photo books.
The search continues. I’m not ordering thru the internet. I’m determined to find one locally.
Wish me luck!

(I realise you are not buying on the internet, but the links below are provided as examples. A good paper or crafts store is likely to have something similar.)

You can make a cool bespoke album by buying a blank scrapbook book like this:

... and using these to mount pictures in it. It's a nice throwback to how it was done in Olden Tymes (tm):

There are many different such blank books available, and - depending on your needs - you may want to find one with acid free paper.

These make for a nice custom gift.

I’m definitely going with these tabs! That’s how I remember albums being back in the day.
Thank you for the link, C!
Peace.

Well, now...that's a perfect opportunity to buy a plain prism for the old camera! 🧐

Probably just gonna send KEH back their camera and get refunded TBH, unless anyone here wants it? Idk if $225 inc. shipping for a tested/working F2S is still a good deal or not.

Yes, good success, it will be worth it.
What is a W?

BenQ SW272Q Photography Monitor. B&H had a $180 coupon on top of paying tax and shipping. Resistance was futile. LOL

Picked up a 5L Kodak E6 kit to clear up the backlog of unprocessed E6 rolls and sheets in the freezer.

I'm ripping through those Lucky SHD 100 120 rolls, I decided to purchase another brick. This stuff is so cheap, it's hard not to...

I'm supporting the folks that burned Washington DC in 1814! Just ordered more Kentmere 200 120. Kodak XTOL (the good German Tetenal stuff from my cellar) stock, 8 minutes 20° , goofy Jobo Silverbase. 1 shot.

Can you please share your supplier ?

Hi Bernard!
I source my stuff from multiple suppliers. The big box came from Alquera (Spain), I got free shipping to Portugal (>49€, which is quite easy w/ a few chems), they where very nice, I got the box in just 24h after payment has been received (total: 48h). For more specific stuff I buy from Silaba (nothern Portugal), I buy from them de Dichromate, Iodine, Potassium Bromide, etc...
Hope I could help. May I ask where are you from? If you need help finding something I know quite a few more suppliers (although I never worked with them directly) that may help.

A Canon T90. 😀
Not my fault! I was enabled by people here in another thread. This one is in great shape.

Today, I received a Rodenstock Grandagon N 115 mm f6.8 lens. Tomorrow, I'll test it. It looks great, other than a small bit of Rodenstockitis. (Like Schneideritis) It won't likely affect the image but I'll test it to make sure.

Thank you for offering help. I’m in France, so I should have no problem buying from Spain or Portugal. I just tested at Silaba and they sell dichromate(!!), although I did not proceed to checkout; I still have some.
A source of silver nitrate at reasonable price (2€/g?) and quantity (25g?) would be useful. Sometime in the future I might need to re-stock borax.

Edit. Just checked: Silaba sells silver nitrate 50g for less than 100€ (but 25g is more than 100€ ??). Hydroquinone but no Metol.
They seem to target colleges and the like. Consistent with the reasonably small quantities proposed. Similar suppliers here in France but will not sell to individuals.

Silaba sources their chemicals from Sordalab in France.

Here in Portugal we also have "ABC Escolar", they also sell sordalab to individuals, but sometimes have better options of quantities.
You may also be interested in "Quimics Dalmau" in Spain, they have a dedicated page for photo related stuff and they sell to individuals (most stuff) althogh I never did business with the last two.

A c12 back for my 500elm, heard that you could take 13 shots with it - found one in fine condition for 90 and took the shot.

A very nice OM1n body from KEH, EX condition for 61 dollars! No working meter apparently but a lot of my cameras don't use meters.

I also bought a Tamron OM adapter and may use it with the Tamron 17mm when I go to Iceland.
