Ive not yet have one with my kit but the various magnification settings are really what I need, as the floaters in my eyes make it difficult to focus close on some days.

Yes, the ability to dial in correction was the exact reason I got it. I bought an old 1st generation one for $70US or thereabouts and have been entirely happy with even on my newest 501c/m body.

I'm here today to say that the Holga 120N has ran it's course.. the main issue is that I'm getting tired of having to load the camera and then once exposed having to send it out to be developed. I'd say 85% of the time the image simply do not turn out as I would hope and this is one reason I'm reverting back to the digital format. I'm still using the custom filter I created as it's bene working. The new or latest purchase came while buying the 85mm lens which turned out being to heavy. So I returned the lens, got a refund and purchase a 56mm Sigma lens instead.

The next issue I've run into is that my eyes are getting worse and even with glasses, I'm not able to see clearly though any viewfinders of use the small screen on the back of my Canon M6. So I've tethered the set up with a Samsung 8'' tablet. Although I've used wifi to tether, I'd like to hope at some point I can hardwire the set up. if one can imagine the set up using a Paul Mitchell mannequin stand as a tripod, the camera attached at the top and a insta360 Motorcycle mount, mounted to the main shaft of the home made tripod. then adding a table holder, I'm still in the process of finding that comfort zone just so I don't have to raise my hands or arms any higher then I need.

I've yet to take an photos, but have bene testing to see how stable this set up is. Most importantly, over Christmas, my wife was hinting that she wants a gopro with a gimble so i got her one..

I had one of the 110 cameras in the 1980's. The prints had deckle edges, quite interesting tech.

I had a 110B Pathfinder that shot type 47 roll films, with straight borders and a lacquere applicator


It was a beautiful camera and I regret selling it when the original films dried up, but I could not afford the high price of conversion to pack films, so I sold it on to someone else who could.

Somewhat photo related, but I got a xacto knife the other day for whenever I get something 3d printed to cut off the excess filament, helped with the Meyer pocket rangefinder I have fit onto a 3d printed extended coldshoe better, which can now fit on my Kodak Monitor 620 w/o a bunch of tape slapped on it to hold it all together

I stumbled across two boxes of Provia 100F in 4x5 (20 sheets per box.). I wasn't looking for it, but its my favorite E6 (I like it more than E100 by a small margin.) They had three boxes and some in 8x10, but 2 boxes of 4x5 was my budget limit. I checked back today and its all gone.

I just got a GREAT deal on a Minolta MD 24-35mm f3.5 zoom. Now I know why they usually have a "higher than I'm willing to pay" price, and I've been looking for a deal for quite a while. It's tiny -- the same size as my Minolta 28mm f3.5 lens -- but heavy -- the same as my Minolta 50mm f1.4, It covers all the wide-angle bases, has a fixed aperture as you zoom, focuses down to one foot, and has a 55mm filter thread. It's a two touch zoom, and as it is zoomed from 35mm to 24mm the front elements move away from the film, while the rear elements move toward the film. I hope I don't wear it out!!!

I need to consolidate my repair and restoration equipment, tools, and spare parts into one place, that is also relatively mobile - I can move it out to my garage when I have visitors

A drawer for my sewing and stitching equipment tools, and materials, that's for very fine stitching for shutter curtains s, small camera case repairs, and heavier duty repairs to LF camera cases, new handles, etc. Also glues, tools, threads, and fabrics,

A second drawer for brass field camera fittings, thumb nuts & screw, TP shutter spare parts, brass screws and other fittings Spare tripod thumb screws, 1/8, 1/4, & 3/8, and adapters.

Then a drawer for smaller tools, knives, jewellers screwdrivers, vernier calliper, rulers, files etc. Maybe there will be room for my collection of lens flanges.

Also spare bellows, I'll find out Tuesday or Wednesday.
