Glad to hear I'm not the only one that does this.

A used and not expensive Canoscan 8800f from Ebay. I am very happy I can scan some of my medium format colour negatives and slides now.

Kodak Gold 200

A bag of XTOL 5L and some Kodak Rapid Fix to freshen up chemistry to process some 4x5 and 5x7 B&W film that has been in the fridge since before the New Year.

Hasselblad EL/M from KEH.

The camera is rated "Excellent" but needs a waist level viewfinder, I do have a pair of 90⁰ viewfinder and can swap out with my C/M body, as needed, but I'd like to find a second WL finder for lighter travel but for now i'm set.

It also comes ready for 9v batteries but I guess I'll need a fancy cable release.

This is likely my last 'big ticket' item for this year, and comes very close to busting my budget overall, but it gives me a more practical two body kit, the Flexbody being more involved shooting wise, I just could not swing a second C/M or C at this time.

Godspeed, everyone!

I really like the 200 version in 120. I bought at least 15 extra rolls. XTOL stock 8 minutes 20°C 😊 Jobo.

I only bought 5 rolls of the 200 because I've never shot it before. After those 5 rolls, if I like it, I'll stock up on a few more. I like Delta 100 and some of the Kodak films more than the Kentmere, but its hard to beat Kentmere for the price. If they made Kentmere sheet film I'd probably buy a lot of that too.

I've recently purchased a Minox "Pocket Tripod" with the camera adapter and cable release, and a second Minox negative viewer (in better shape than the first one), that will be used for digitizing the tiny negatives (too small to get useful resolution on my flatbed scanner).

I keep hoping to find someone who' 3D printed a WLF for the V bodies as I could use another and they are deadly expensive.

Im not sure if a 3D WLF would be possible without a metal plate/shoe to attach it to the camera.

Also, finding a suitable glass magnifier might be difficult to find, but i supose if an experienced printer can print the device to make an easy platform to attach these to, it should be easy enough to priint out.

Has anyone here bought the small glass magnifier before?

Datacolor Spyder Print Studio calibration tool. My current solo show has some BIG prints on canvas and a few of them had some issues with the black ink being TOO dense and causing some metamerism. So I want to get better control over my printing process.

Can you show some examples?

About 300 #5 flash bulbs which happened to come with some semi functional type 107 film and way too much type 42 film from Polaroid. So now I face the dilemma of either finding a Polaroid 110 (or some other model) camera to try it out. Or just sell it on.

I have a chimney finder. They're terrific and inexpensive. But there are times when shooting from the waist is valuable.

I agree.

Ive not yet have one with my kit but the various magnification settings are really what I need, as the floaters in my eyes make it difficult to focus close on some days.

Calibrite GrafiLite, sold as a viewing light for color-critical applications. Color temperature can be switched from 2700, 4000 and 5000 degrees Kelvin, though 4000K is brightest, as that's the one setting where all LEDs are lit. But as "cool gadgets" go, it's underwhelming to be honest.

I had one of the 110 cameras in the 1980's. The prints had deckle edges, quite interesting tech.
