That looks like it was designed using a wind tunnel! Amazing technology. I've always used Minolta light meters. Great find!

Ha. Yes. And melted a bit in the oven. I really think that the designers sculpted the body out of modeling clay and took great pains to get everything to feel good in the hands and have the controls in just the right places. That makes the camera feel smaller and lighter than it is.

My 10 rolls of 120 Superpan 200 just arrived. Not impressed with B&H's idea of packaging... 🤨

Wow! I never get packages like that from them. Everything arrives well packed in bubble wrap inside a box. Contact customer support and show them this photo.

Not impressed with B&H's idea of packaging

I once ordered a pack of 16x20 mat board from B&H. It arrived in a box that was a lot bigger than 16x20 (for some reason). A corner had poked through the side of the box and the entire stack of mat board had 2 corners bent badly. I complained. They sent more. In exactly the same way. Once again, two corners of the mat board were bent. I complained. They sent more. This time, the box was smaller, but there was no padding around the mat board at all. However, it was fine.

But I got a bill from UPS for brokerage and customs on it. I didn't pay it.

I absolutely loathe UPS for that very reason!

As long as you leave your guns at home, and don't cheer for the Leafs... oh, and spell certain words correctly, and say ZED. 😄

I'm all about Zed. People here just don't believe me 😊

I have a couple of my grandfather's guns. In typical USA fashion he bought a 45 auto in 1917, he told my grandmother he was afraid of Mexico joining up with the Austro-Hungarian empire and coming up from Texas. 😅😳🤔. 106 years nothing has changed 🙃.

I'm peaceful and if the RCMP and the Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers, is on guard who needs guns!!

Nikon new ZED 8!

The last item I purchased from B&H was a Artist & Artisan half case for a Leica M. Smelled like it had been sitting in a dank warehouse that was flooded by Hurricane Sandy. Sent it back and they sent me another one that smelled the same.

I'm horrified at how often I could respond to the title question of this thread.

There must be a new guy on the packaging line 😂. My last B&H order came in a box with an [excessive] amount of bubble wrap, which has been my typical experience with them. I've had a couple shipping f-ck ups from them, and their customer service has always been responsive in rectifying it.

I hope the films are OK! By the way, have you ever explored the IR / extended red sensitivity on Superpan 200? It's been on my to-do list for quite some time.

Maybe 15 years ago, they did ship me some D-76 in a padded envelope. It arrived torn with the majority of the contents gone. I'm that someone along the shipping chain had an exciting day with a hazmat response team upon the discovery of an unknown white powder, especially since the US Anthrax mailings were still top-of-mind for everyone at the time. 😶

Zero 69 Deluxe Version, Back To Nature Series, just ordered it direct from Zero Image in Hong Kong. Tried to find one in the US, but both Freestyle and Bluemoon were out of stock on the model I was looking for. This is for my wife cause she wanted one. 🙂
