You must live a charmed life, when items come to me from China it takes 36 to 72 days.

My last few orders from Chinese sellers came via Orange Express and ran between two and three weeks. Can't be sure if they were stocked in USA and shipped on order, or if they bulk-ship by rapid method and dilute the cost over multiple orders. Coming direct from Shanghai shouldn't be excessive, either, if the declared value isn't too large (and Customs isn't in a suspicious mood the day they come through).

You are right the FOV is 1.5° not 1.0°. I learned more about the Reveni spot meter from your video than I did from the other threads about it. On its website I see that it does have lots of features. Interesting but I like my Pentax Digital Spot Meter better.

Just today bought an "open box" Epson 550 which will use (I hope) my collection of Better Scanning holders.

However I'm mainly interested in scanning and discarding years of letter-size prints, most of which made me happy in ancient times...and a collection of random-size prints from pre-soviet Russia and Harbin China.

My old Epson 3200 did yeoman service with prints and 6X7 film but it finally died and went away.

Bought a legitimate "like NIB" Canon FL 28/3.5 lens with original Canon case from a Facebook Marketplace seller yesterday. They had a fairly sizable collection of lenses, filters, and two FTb cameras. I was also interested in an FTb (one was an FTbn I believe), but I hated the match needle meter (never used one before, now I know I don't like it). Everything was in great shape and the prices were fair ($50 for each body and most of the lenses were $40-$50). I negotiated the 28mm down to $40 from $50.

I'm currently wringing it out on my M43 digital before I use it on film. I normally go for faster glass because I'm a available light shooter, but decided to give this a try considering the price and condition. Most of my "wide angle" needs are outdoor shots anyway.

While I was in that region (25 miles from home), I stopped by Ace Photo, fondled an M3 (first time ever, it was smoother/quieter than I expected) inspected a Leica 35mm/3.5 Summaron ($600, looked to be in great shape), and walked out with two rolls of Cinestill XX 120.

Is that the same film with small tape that kept jamming up some cameras? If it is, I'd be curious to see if they addressed that issue...

You may be thinking of Shanghai GP3 120, which was once reported to have issues with the head end tape (whether it was too small or just didn't stick, I don't recall). I understand this has been corrected in subsequent runs.

I bought a mint Canon AE Power Winder FN in the original box from my local camera store last week for my 2 Canon New F1n's, not because I desperately need a power winder, (especially considering the price of film today) but because it gives the cameras the ability to use shutter priority AE in addition to the aperture priority AE prisms I already have, and I can use the winder on both cameras.
