Bought a couple of [arts donor cameras off Ebay to repair my Spotmatic and earlier Pentax H3V.

My local supplier had a mint 80mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Planar C T*. Now, I have it. Traded for my older 80mm f/2.8.

Got a package today with a lot of stuff I’ve bought over the last couple of months;

* Paterson Micro Focus Finder (sold by the great APUG’er @ReallyBigCameras);
* Kodachrome magazines (issues #2 and #3);
* Kodak / Girl Skateboards t-shirts;
* Ilford paper in 16x20”, 50 sheets:
* Gepe slide mounts for 6x6 film;
* 10 battery packs for Metz 45 flashes that need to be re-celled;
* Focus helical, flange and adapter for my “Poor-Man’s SWC” project.

I guess I have bought enough for the first half of this year! :smile:

Found a Agfa Optima Sensor Flash in a second hand store yesterday. It looked good but it had no pricetag on it, so I went over to ask the staff how much it was. He had his price tagging machine allready set up to 29kr (£2.36) so he asked me if that was ok and I said, sure! :smile:
It even had working batteries inside!

Found a very nice Bronica Zenzanon 110mm f/4 Macro PS. This will keep my 6x6 Hasselblad and Bronica SQ kits "balanced". Just can't let one system gain an advantage over the other. :cry: :cry: :cry:

Kodak Retina IIA. All the stuff that is prone to not work works just fine. The focus is a little stiff, but pending a performance test and some use to see if I like shooting it, I'll get it CLA'ed and be happy with a compact, well-made, coat-pocketable 35mm folder.

The Proprietor of our local junk shop pulled out a box from under her desk when I stopped by today and told me she had something that she thought I’d be interested in. The box had a full Canon FT QL Kit, QL 50/1.4, Soligor 105/2.8, and a Canon FD 55/1.2 SSC, along with a whole host of attachments (meter booster, tripod, Vivitar flash system, etc). Needless to say, I left the shop with the box...
You can find some great stuff in junk shops-I got an Olympus Trip in near mint condition for £10 and a pack of Kodak Bromesko paper (a bit of Bromide or BZT should take care of any fogging issues).

Folmer and Schwing 7x17 Banquet camera with film, film holders, dev trays, contact frame, and Azo paper. Should be fun. Have a 16 1/2” Dagor that will focus just barely, and have a 305mm G-Claron on the way. Also just received a box of 7x17 Xray film to play with and 7x17 negative sleeves. Should be fun. I have wanted an 8x20 for a while, but am excited to have the 7x17. It’ Not much heavier than my 8x10 so it will be pretty manageable in the field.

I just signed up for Photography Formulary Workshop The Art of Black & White Photography with Nathan McCreeryDate: June 9-14 in Condon Montana near Glacier National Park.

I have some XP2 and some Adox Silvermax 100 on the way from Speed Graphic-the latter is one of the few films I've not tried yet!

Replacement leather sets for a Rolleicord IIb and a Yashica 44.

I just won bids on two lenses for my recently acquired Voigtlander Prominent: the 35mm f/3.5 Skoparon and the 100mm f/4.5 Dynaron.
Leather cases in good shape, back caps and one front cap.
The seller's not really a photo guy so I'm taking a bit of a chance and hoping the glass is clear and the coatings are intact. The price was good enough to take the risk.

Is the 44 a grey one and are you going with the matching grey leather?

Yes and yes.

Nice news on the Voigtlander Prominent! Since I have a Vitessa T and a L, I will be fighting GAS to avoid investing in another Voigtlander camera! If the Prominent lenses fit the Vitessa T I would be in trouble...

Found a like-new Bogen/Manfrotto 3047 head, my favorite "everyday" tripod head.

PS - While the hex plates are no longer being made, I still like them for everything up to, and including my 4x5's. I also picked up a couple of adapters off eBay, which allow Arca-Swiss plates to be used on hex plate heads.

My 305mm G-Claron arrived yesterday, in a Compur 1 shutter, 10 blade aperture, also 1/3 stop clicks for the aperture which I like. Just need a darkcloth which I’ll probably sew this weekend. If not I’ll use my 5x7 darkcloth as I really want to get out and shoot with my “new” camera.

I am jumping into the world of 4x5, and someone on Photrio (I would say who, but don't want to presume they are okay with that) was nice enough to sell me an Anniversary Speed Graphic and an Ektar lens for almost nothing. I already have film holders and a lens board on the way. I will be needing some advice for processing 4x5 affordably...

Just received a Stereo Realist 1050 w 2.8 lens from fellow APUG member. Loaded with Ektachrome 100 and will shoot roll tomorrow. Camera is beautiful considering age. Will find out for myself if the f2.8 lens is better, no difference, or worse compared with 3.5.
