3 gallons of DH2O. I'm making salt prints again on days when the sun comes out, which have been few and far between this month, but today is one

I usually buy it at target, but they were out ( empty shelves where all the gallon sized drinking, spring, distilled, purified water usually is ). Went to "FoodMax" and they had 4 gallons of Alhambra distilled water, but one of the jugs had a dented corner... they had lots of "purified" water which on the label says it was made with an RO filter.. but I'm afraid to change things up when the chances for printing are hard to come by. I've used my own RO-filtered well water without any problems, but IDK....

Thanks for reminding me! I ran out last week and almost have to mix another batch of Photo Flo.

I just picked up a dirt-cheap Vivitar 90mm f/2.8 macro lens in Minolta MD mount. I’ve never tried any macro photography so I’m hopeful something cool will come out of this.

Ah... so one trade inspired another: The Nikon FM2n has inspired me to pick up a Nikon F100 and switch out the AIS lenses for next-to-the same AF/D's versions of the 24mm, 50mm and 105mm. Ultimately, this move means 1) I'll trade out the Sony A7RII and lenses and go Digital Free (unlikely), or I'll kiss the Sony goodbye and use the AF/D lenses on a way-used digital Nikon. The latter is closer to the plan, and it would mean less "junk" in the drawer as I struggle to declutter as our move approaches.

A Vivitar TLA-1 in Olympus OM mount. Converts your lens to telescope and significantly increases magnification. Plan to use with Tamron SP 300mm and 400mm lenses. Guess this makes the Vivitar TLA-1 in Canon FD mount surplus to me and available to someone else.

I've decided to give autofocus a try. Mostly I prefer the slow manual processes of photography, but I'm occasionally I've pined for the ability to move a little quicker, I already have a few Nikons that I play with (F4, N90s) that are very nice, but their size puts me off. Since I have a Pentax DSLR and number of 35mm compatible lenses, I am taking a chance on a MZ-S. I bought a kit zoom (24-90) to go with it, but I also already have F28/2.9, F50/1.4, F100/2.8, and a couple of DA limited lenses that will work on a film camera with shutter priority: DA40/2.8, DA70/2.4.

I got this camera for my son when he graduated from college and he took it to Europe 3 times on Guard deployments he still shoots it.

I'm kind of switching things up: Trading off a Contax S2 and related primes for a Nikon FM2n and primes. Sideways move perhaps. Also just dropped off my Nikon Coolscan for a clean-up / repair. Thought long and hard about dropping the Rolleiflex 6008 equip and picking up a Mamiya 6 RF, but decided to give the 6008 another year to prove it can work. Love my Rollei 3.5F TLR, but still working out the preferred way to do MF 120. Thought about junking it and going to LF for high quality, but couldn't pull that trigger either. Also have a trade out of the Rolleiflex SL2 and primes in process. .
I've been in similar situation, I never regretted going for LF and now want an 8x10! However, I love my Rolleicord for hiking and carrying when I'm out and about round town, as it's nice and compact. A rangefinder would be great for landscape and street work, which is what I do a lot of. I'm thinking about a Fuji GSW 690, which is not for people with small hands but has the same aspect ratio as 35mm, which is what I currently use for street work. But the bigger negative would be great...night shots on Portra 800!

A Nikon 105mm f/2.5 AI-s, to go with my Nikkor-P 105mm f/2.5 AI conversion. Decided one wasn't enough.

Canon EOS-1V and 3 rolls of Ilford XP-2.

I always wanted a 1V but could never afford it new when it came out. I'm not disappointed by the camera either, it was worth waiting for!
