A Lensball. Bit gimmicky and probably a passing fad, but have shot some beautiful photos with it so far. Well, I say they're beautiful, but the film's not been developed yet so atm they were only beautiful through the viewfinder.

A Pentax Super Program with lens and flash. I saw it in a thrift store and couldn't resist...it was $1.00. It all works and was very clean.
I am always fascinated about the cheap price of these wonderful old cameras. Fully working but “no one” interested in it. It’s a shame.

My most recent photography purchase was a Pacific Image (aka Reflecta) PrimeFilm 7200 scanner from B&H. Yeah, I know, it's A-to-D but suits a hybrid workflow for my Stereo Realist in getting from 5P frames (as opposed to the standard 8P frames shot by most 35mm cameras) to a 4x6 stereo print. I don't have to do nearly as much spotting as I did when digitizing the Epson V30 flatbed, which lacks infrared scratch/dust removal.

Last totally analog purchase? A roll each of FP4+ and HP5+ from the local camera shop.

On Sunday I went to a small camera show in Northern New Jersey. Very small, really. Almost more of a little camera flea market in a hotel.
I had a nice time and spent money irresponsibly:

20-odd filters of various sizes
many lens caps, front and back, for various mounts and sizes
a small assortment of straps
a Tokina 28mm f/2.8 in Nikon Ai-s mount - sure, it's not a Nikkor but it was very clean and pretty cheap
a Vivitar two-touch 70-150mm f/3.8 in Nikon non-Ai mount
a Nikon FE, fully working, could use a little cleaning
a Minolta XE-7, seems to be fully working, could use a LOT of cleaning
a Pentacon F, fully working with clean Zeiss 50mm f/2.8 Tessar
an Exakta VX, fully working with clean Zeiss 50mm f/2.8 Pancolar
a clean Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 Flektagon for the Exacta

All the vendors were pretty nice. All the prices were reasonable to good (and, in some cases, very cheap) and I have a lot of new toys to play with.
I'm especially excited about the two East German cameras; it's so seldom you find these in good working order. Both were purchased from a semi-retired camera repairman.
I'm going to have a lot of fun with those if it ever stops raining in NYC!

Enjoy your new purchases! Just a few rolls of XP2 and HP5+ for me, from Stills in Edinburgh -just the thing for a spot of street photography before catching my train home.

NICE sellers in NYC?? :wondering: :D
Awwww, come on!! We're not that bad, are we? The show was in NJ, the vendors were mostly local (New Yorkers, more or less) but some had travelled from as far as Columbus, OH.

Congratulations - you totally scored at that show!
I feel like I did. None of the pieces I bought were shelf queens; this is definitely used gear and it looks it but it all seems reasonably well cared for (or well repaired) so I don't feel like I took any big chances on anything.
The Exakta, in particular, will win no beauty contests with bumpy leatherette, an ugly plastic prism finder from a later Exa and much later Pancolar lens, but it was the smoothest working of the six Exaktas I saw at the show (two weren't working at all) and the price was the lowest. Finding a working Minolta XE-7 was also like winning a lottery; every one I've ever seen in person had something wrong with it but this one seems to work all around. It's caked with crud but for $45 I was willing to bet on it. It's a model I've been meaning to find for several years.

Flexicolor RA chemicals for C-41, finally. There was a pro-pack of Acros in 120 format on display, so I snatched that too.

I also bought some more Acros and 160NS from Kumar, which should be delivered today or tomorrow.

The weather was alternating between sunshine and showers, so that was fantastic from for B&W, especially in my favourite city. Perhaps I'll put a few in a future Postcard Exchange.

Just purchased two 100/8x10 boxes of Portriga Rapid. One unopened, one opened, hopefully that one is not light fogged. Intact box is 118 and the opened one is 117. Never heard of that surface before. All from evilbay of course.

Local dealer had this near-mint condition Nikon F2 Photomic w/50mm f/1.4 Nikkor-S.C, eveready case, and instructions. Made in 1973. This one must have been kept in the case; it's nearly spotless. Only a small handling mark on the base plate. Meter is accurate against my Gossen Luna Pro SBC. This one will get some good use.

Lomography Digitaliza scanning masks in both 120 and 135 sizes. I had been looking for them for a while and finally found sources for each. I think they may actually be discontinued.

The flea markets in Manhattan were kind to me today as well:
12 useful filters and assorted adapters - bought in a bunch they came out to 60 cents apiece.
Watson bulk loader - VERY clean
wide angle and telephoto auxiliary lenses for my 4x4 Yashicamat - yeah, I know... the optics of those aux lenses aren't very good but the sets were $5 each and the glass was perfect. I couldn't resist.
Konica Auto S2 - very dirty but more or less functional
Balda Super Baldina - also very dirty but functional.

The bulk loader can replace my Alden with a dodgy counter, the filters - mostly UVs and Skylights - will come in handy eventually and the cameras, after a little cleaning, should keep me entertained for a while.

Carl Zeiss Sonnar CF T* 4/180 for the Hasselblad.
That's a nice focal length for 6x6-I have one for my Mamiya C330 which gets lots of use.

Yes I've wanted this lens ever since I first got the Hassy. I haven't actually received it yet, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I did consider getting the CFi version, but in the end I couldn't really justify the 50% added cost.

I just bought 15 rolls of Portra 160 (120) and 10 rolls of Ilford FP4 (120).
Along with it, a Pentax 67 105mm f/2.4 (with yellowed lens) and started to treat it using the infamous Jonsjo LED light from Ikea about a week ago - it's now more or less cleared up.

FINALLY...20 years ago I wanted one of these and at long last I have acquired one! Practically brand new and a bunch of extras such as 6 tanks, a 1520, 1540, 2523, 2551, 2553 and a 2840. 11 reels from 35mm to 4x5. 6-1000mL and 6-600mL bottles and some other goodies.
I have about a dozen or more rolls of 120 just waiting plus a few sheets of 4x5 not to mention several rolls of 35mm. Happy Days indeed!!
