The original Nikkor 50mm f2 - Nikkor-S Auto 1:2 f=5cm
This is a seven element lens that pre-dated the six element versions.
Bought to go with my Nikomat

Just scored a 50 sheet box of 11x14 Ektalure (ouch).
Ektalure is cracking stuff-I bought up a whole load from Silverprint in London back in the early noughties, which I'm saving for those special negs that really suit it. I have several in mind, so it's time to get to work!

Popped into a thrift shoppe and found a mint Olympus Stylus 120 for $9.99 which is excellent because I've been looking for one of these. It seems like it works, can't find much info on this particular model though. Putting a roll through it now and I'll see what comes of it.

Went into an antique/junk shop in Wexford, Ireland - some very tattered over-priced 120 folding cameras definitely not worth anything remotely near the asking prices.

Asked if any brass lenses, no but some German lenses, well it turned out what they called lenses were mostly old push on filters, I walked out with a boxed Schneider 50mm f3.5 Componar lens - rather dirty though but cleaned perfectly. And then a Voigtlander 310/49 lens hood often mis-described as 49mm thread, they aren't they push in, anyway both worth far more than the 34 I paid for both :D

I got all this loot from a thrift store and a garage sale over the weekend. The SX-70 with a case was $13, it needs the battery contacts cleaned. The panorama camera was $3, the flash bulbs were a few dollars and the DDB projector bulb was $5. The Philco radio was $25, it cleaned up really nice and it still works.

Nice radio! I scored a Detrola but it has some grounding issues, I'll get to it some day.

Ensign Selfix 820 folder with Ross Xpres lens in a charity shop. Excellent condition, with carrying case and original instruction booklet. Can't wait to run a film through it!

Just got this Bessa R2C, not new of course, but unused, even the original 2004 batteries were unopened in the box.
Was looking for one for some time and than this turned up at a reasonable price.
Now the set looks complete

Frank

A Manfrotto advanced camera/ / messenger bag it was the last one and a half-price bargain at Amazon https://sg.carousell.com/p/manfrott...-small-advanced-pixi-messenger-bag-160647478/
I bought it because it doesn't look conspicuous to carry around in the city like my Dome F2, is light and slim and, you can access your gear quickly.
It was just delivered and is perfect for my needs to carry an SLR body and a 20-35 and 35-105 zooms and a 17 mm ultra wide-angle, my light meter, tablet, light meter cell phone and a few other hoods, sunglasses and other odds and ends I carry.

I ran out of Adox MCP paper in 24cm x 30cm. They still don't have any of my usual 112 (matte) but glossy is still in stock. A single box would be below free shipping so I asked two friends from Hong Kong to go to the shop in Berlin and buy it for me (and a roll of TMZ, while they're at it).

Luckily there already were in Berlin for sightseeing and will come down here to visit me in a few days. So I didn't have to ask them to fly from HK just to get me my paper...

The question I would like to know the answer is: if you asked them that, would they do it?

I'd like to think so! They would get to see Berlin and the lovely Foto Impex store. And then it's only a few hours by train to see me! How could they resist...

I bought 200' of Tri-X and 100' of Foma 100 on Thursday.

I didn't actually need more film but I was meeting a friend a couple of blocks away from Adorama and I was early and I had cash in my pocket and.... oops. Looks like I bought more film.
Oh, well. There's room in the fridge. It's not like it's going to go to waste!

25 Pro packs of Neopan Acros, 120 size. A more glorious purchase is hard to imagine.
For sure!...maybe some Blue Label Record Rapid-I made several prints on this and they're some of the best I ever made (the Agfapan 400 4x5 wasn't too shabby either). It must have been made in the 70s as the Agfa logo was printed in the back of the paper. Enjoy your Acros!

Waiting for the check to arrive at the seller and then be delivered, a 1973 Hasseblad 30 C fisheye lens.
