Originally I was after a tilt/shift adapter/lens for my Mamiya RZ67 ProII, but went for Horseman 4x5 Monorail Kit instead.
A natural progression really, cant wait to try out this weekend with some portraits !!!

MD-1 apparently is a MD-2 masquerading as a MD-1. Got it today and noticed the contacts for the MF-3 film stop back. Today's purchase was a decent condition BlackRapid strap for $21.45 with tax. Also got a free Nikon strap and a free Tamrac strap, since apparently Domke is now requiring dealers to order about $1,000 worth of items before they'll ship. Last time Kenmore Camera had a Domke Gripper was sometime in 2016.

This really isn't a purchase, but I have to share. I inherited a stereoscope from my grandparents. It came with a stack of pictures from the late 1800s or maybe early 1900s. The picture on top of the stack has a copyright of 1896. So this whole thing is in excess of 100 years old. I'm seriously considering getting a stereo realist camera now.

At the last Camera Fair the top part of a case for an M2/3 Leica for £1 ($1.40), it was lucky find as mine had fallen apart..

Unexpected as I'd forgotten this impulse buy which arrival today a near mint 1954 Schneider 120mm f6.8 Angulon in a Prontor #1 shutter. Described as having cleaning marks etc, it's just the expected Schneideritis :D The seller has another under $100 same description in a Compur.

a Kiev 4a, Type 2 (black) with Jupiter 50/2 lens. Just for fun.

View attachment 200220

Lovely, I'd love one particularly a black one

Some friends, well actually twins, had a Kiev 4 and I processed their films in the 1970's their results were superb. Very under rated cameras, the Jupiter 8 lens is usually superb, I have a few LTM versions.

I have Zeiss Contax with a 50mm f1.5 Sonnar but I don't use it much because the viewfinder is so small and difficult for me to use.

This is similar I think. In fact it is practically the same camera. I keep hearing people calling it a Contax copy, but rather I would say it is a Contax derivative.

Well of course it's a derivative, the Russians shipped Carl Zeiss Ikon tooling etc and some personnel to the Ukraine to make the Kiev cameras.

Just ordered 6 boxes of Ilford 11x14 FP4+. I have been off-line most of April and almost missed the special ordering window (closes May 25th)!

A Canon FD 20-35 f3.5 L and a Canon FD 35-105 f3.5 Zoom lenses, I bought. both from a local camera store yesterday, they are both in mint condition and came with a three months warranty. The store owner is a very nice man, and he gave me two Hoya second-hand 72mm skylight filters to protect them which saved me a lot of money buying them.

A Canon F1 "B" split image focusing screen off eBay from a man in Germany which came beautifully packed in a gigantic cardboard box that was a hundred times larger than the item it contained, however, the screen is in perfect condition was a reasonable price and I'm very happy with it.
P.S. Where would you find an Item like this that hasn't been manufactured for about forty years if it wasn't for eBay?

Beautiful Nikon Zoom-Nikkor 80-200 4.5 pre-AI. Glass is gorgeous, body near perfect. Only flaw is slight zoom ring slip, but beautiful condition overall for an optic nearly 50 years old.

Correct, Ian the Russians gave the workers at the Zeiss factory in Jena 24 hours to pack and told them you will either come, or you can remain here dead, they also took all the plant and machinery with them but curiously didn't take the glass.
