No one, I hope. But I wish you found 2 pounds of gold buried in your backyard... Or that you win the lottery (if you are into gambling)... Or that you find a cheap Hassy at a thrift store.

To be honest, I wish all these things to myself too. :D
 
My latest purchase was a vintage Welt Safe-Lock Zoom-leg model TW from the late 60's I believe. I have several versions of Welt tripods and love them for their simplicity and quickness in setting up. It was only $3 in a Goodwill store-couldn't resist. This version is one of their smallest and lightest(about 3 1/2 lbs). Perfect for travel. I have an older Consumers Report and these tripods were rated VG along side the Tilt-all. Max ht: 59 3/4 in, Folded length: 26 1/4 in. One benifit with this brand is that dirt and sand are less likely to interfere with the leg locking because the largest diameter leg disengages first to the ground. There is only two sections. Pan head is typical of that era--don't mind not having a locking plate.
 
Picked up a nice Lunasix mter for £15 ($19) then a Profisix SBC ($37) with spot attachment for £30, both are in excellent condition, it was only when I got home I realised the first is a Lunasix F so useful as I shoot quite a bit with studio flash. These will go in LF kits for workshops.

These days, Hasselblads are much more affordable. Although $900 should get you a very nice 500C/M, CF 80/2.8 lens, waist level finder, and A12 back, far less expensive would be a 500C, 80/2.8 C lens, WLF, and a regular 12 back.

Or - you can at least match Hasselblad quality images with an RB67 system for a few hundred dollars.

Good. I don't have hundreds of dollars but I already have an RB67. :D
 
I bought a Kodak Instamatic X-15 to play with. I'm not using an empty 127 cannister, so we'll see how it goes. I measured it takes about three winds to advance one frame. I'm sure I'm going to forget that step at least once though.

I'm guessing you mean an "empty 126 canister". Because 127 is going to really frustrate you when you try to fit it into the camera :smile:.
What film are you using, and how are you preventing it from being fogged through the back window?

Yea 126.

I have some gaffers tape. I'm going to tape that window and the edges, they don't look light safe. I think some light leaks might be cool if I don't manage to fully light seal it though. I'm going to shoot some Ilford HP5 in it, I don't know what speed I'm going to develop at though. I might develop for 800-1600. I have a Limo Fisheye that I developed HP at 1200 and got good results.

after my newly purchased GL690 died too early and I need a "mobile device" I just got a 135mm Optar with lens board to restore my Speed Graphic ...
 
2 keyrings to make a strap for my TLR. They attach to a washer I drilled to fit the strap lugs, preventing them from popping off and providing a place to attach the strap.

I love my Crown Graphics, I got rid of the speed graphics, too heavy. One of my Crown Graphics has a nice bright top rangefinder. I love to shoot 4x5 hand held. I have a GW690II AND A GW690III best all around camera I've ever used. I had a GW690III too wide for my needs. I print everything optical so I love big negatives

I was poking around on KEH the other day and saw these two for about a buck a piece, so I took a chance. The Pony 135 may not be fixable (the shutter is really dogged), but the Duaflex IV is in surprisingly good shape. I think I may put some film through it this weekend.

Four rolls of 35 mm HP5+ (36 exp)this am at London Drugs. Noticing the paucity of film on the shelves (all Ilford and Fuji), I enquired as to the absence of Kodak product. The clerk informed me that "Kodak doesn't make film anymore." :blink: !!

Although it seems that whoever wrote the 1947 article in Miniature Camera Magazine about the enlarger exposure meter never got credit when the Lumimeter was being sold.

Two broken Canon QL17's. For the pleasure of taking apart and analyzing the machanism. Yeah, and perhaps get one working out of the two?
 
Other than the Nikkormat stuff mentioned elsewhere, yesterday, paid for some film processing.

Just got my mail and there's a 100-pack of PrintFile archival sheets for 6x6 slides (12 per sheet). That will last me a loooong time.
