Both develop film, right?

i have never heard of tea developing film, but its used to tone prints
but darkroomexperimente might have used tea and gotten
results, i know he( she? ) used grocery store shallots,
and made direct positives, and rosemary and made negatives so who knows
what fun he (she?) had with tea ...

coffee for sure will develop film and paper ...

Tea can be acidic so it might be worth a shot. Then again tequila is always worth a shot.

Just placed an order with Freestyle: a packet of Ilford Microphen, a propack of Acros 100, and 1L of Liquidol paper developer which I've been dying to try.

Actually a present from a customer in a camera store I work in - he traded in some gear and realised I was a Minolta nut, so he gave me

Minolta XK - with both eye level prism and magnified waist level finder (the finder is in it's original box and has never been used) plus Minolta 450 Elektroflash

And a Minolta MD 100-500mm zoom - it's mint, but has fungus in it. I gave it to my friend the camera technician and asked when he had time could he have a go at cleaning it....

I develop film in my kitchen and have had all kinds of problems with my old faucet. It was next to impossible to adjust the water temperature, turning the hot and cold handle was unpredictable and once you got the temp adjusted it would drift. So I bought a nice T&S Brass and Bronze Works commercial faucet and installed it yesterday. The new faucet has ceramic cartridges and is a joy to use. When you turn the handles they are very predictable and they hold a steady temperature. I know not near as cool as a new camera or a bunch of film but the new faucet really made it much easier to process my film and it also saved quite a bit of water.

20 more rolls of Delta 400 - don't want to run out on our upcoming trip. I see a lot of film processing in my future... And hopefully printing too.

A 50/2 Nikkor-HC for $29.57 with tax included. Took it home, and replaced the pre-AI aperture ring with a #2 AI conversion ring I had lying around. Will be using it as my main normal lens while the 55/1.2 goes under the knife for some cosmetic surgery. That lens still seems to shoot fine, but got knocked off a table while it was attached to the F and landed on some carpet. Now has a dimple in the barrel, one in the distance scale portion of the focusing ring, and the chrome ring got warped. Definitely no longer KEH EX grade. Before the lens purchase, bought a roll of Fujicolor Pro 400H for the F3P. Finished it up today.
