I think it was a couple pages back in this thread. And the answer is the same. My blackberry juice turned out to be hideously slow despite what I've read, so I hope blueberries are faster. However I'm discovering I like the anthotypes as they are printing with objects arranged on the vegetable juice as much as the finished print itself (although I've only finished one so far!). I might just C-41/RA-4 them

I think he mentioned this on the other forum/thread and I asked that same answer, the reply to my recollection was as "an emulsion"

Sold my dslr and picked up the RX100 as a backup for the RZ67. It's an impressive little camera, though I don't anything can fully replace the RZ with the 110mm and some Provia--that's a match made in heaven.

Blueberries are my favorite. So much so that I consider anything other than eating them (raw) to be blasphemous

I posted earlier that I bought a very rare lens but wouldn't say more until it's in my hands. I have it now but the aperture is very stiff and it looks like there's some edge separation. I'm thinking having it properly restored is worth ever penny. What do you folks think?

This is a 112mm Suter Basel Series IV f/12.5 Anastigmat that, according to the Vade Mecum, is only two or three known to exist in the world. I don't know if this is one of two referred two in the V-M or if it's a third example. This pic is of just the front cell. The barrel is soaking to (hopefully) loosen the aperture and the rear cell is set to the side.

Do any of you know anything about this lens?

Why is this special? I mean besides its rarity as in the only made two or three, why is it special what about it makes it better than other lenses? Thanks. Also you soaking your aperture blades? Is that safe?

Nothing fancy. Just some 120 Print File negative sleeves, and some black and white film. Sending in a check for some more film developer this week too.

The old school payment method.

I sent off a money order for some 52MM filters today.

Haha I know what a check is I just don't understand sending one out to buy developer. I'm surprised, many places don't accept checks because too many people wrote bad checks.

Sending a check??

..? You are pretty terrible with context, Stone.

What does my method of payment have to do with anything?

It's not special in any way other than rarity. Soaking the aperture in a mix of naphtha and Eezox is safe... everything is metal. I got it for nearly free with the camera it came on. I can't afford to keep it though.

Stone, these days paper checks are treated like bank cards. In most cases the recipient scans them and payment is electronically debited from the sender's account immediately. Some people prefer payment by check for their type of record-keeping. Others prefer to send money orders to prevent ID theft.

And I prefer paying by check sometimes when payday is a couple days off and I want something NOW. And in those cases I throw a fit if they scan it and treat it as a debit card. If I wanted to use a card I'D USE A FREAKING CARD.

Ah okay... but FLOATING CHECKS is risky business.
