Cool. I used to work in a lab where they used this for scanning to big files. I believe it was an X/Y scanner, sampling in both directions. The quality was outstanding! Needed SCSI interface, though. How do you make that work today?

There's very little RC paper there. All the Ilford paper is all FB except the roll in the background as is the Polywarmtone. I picked up the Adox and Foma on ebay cheap, same seller, it's RC and my first RC purchase in in probably 15-16 years.

I much prefer FB papers, I grew up with them - the first RC or rather PE I used was surplus stock ex-military paper a few years before Ilfospeed. Apart
from the MG IV all the papers are warmtone, but I can get similar warmth from the MG IV by bleaching and redeveloping in Pyrocat HD (more to come about this).

WOW, enough for two weeks of some real practice and great fun !!

I'm hoping there's enough paper to last 2-3 years, the Polywarmtone is needed to finish an exhibition project. I always use the same paper for each exhibition

Indeed I have notice quite a few MCP boxes in your photos. Some say its the best RC there is. Happy printing.

Looks are deceptive, the MCP boxes are part used some have very little paper in them, I've yet to try it. The Fomatone MG 332 is a lovely warm-tone paper I found it really nice to print with and plan to get more Foma paper shortly although FB not RC.

Ian, how thick is Fomatone PE, my experience with Fomaspeed PE paper is that it is thinner than everything else on the market.

Yes it's a little bit thinner base than Ilford or the old Agfa papers but I was very pleased with the 25 prints I did and the thickness isn't an issue I'd buy more if I had the same opportunity (reasonable bargain on ebay).

Rescued from the skip

Just brought home a film drying cabinet that the local university had thrown in the skip. A little over ten years old, and not a mark on it.

Nikon 300mm f/4.5 AI Nikkor for $80 in fairly good shape. Always wanted one of these.

Picked up a Yashica EM in great condition and a NIB complete Minicam flash on the bay, found the correct flash bracket a bit later. Found a gross of both Press 25 and Press 25B flashbulbs for a decent price, all dots blue, they work great as does the camera. Tested with color and black and film, shutter's correct, meter works perfectly and is also correct amazingly enough. Serial number from the first release and it came with a Rolleiflex orange filter. Amazingly enough the original case is in excellent condition and the strap is sturdy. The E.G. 1 case turned up around the same time, seems to be from the same era if not earlier and holds the flash, bulbs, film, etc. as if it was made for it.

Thanks Ian, no surprise they are using the same base for the Fomaspeed and Fomatone range I guess.

An "Eclipse" adjustable developing tank - because it offers a good, rigid detent for the position that works with 116/616 film.

I've got a few rolls of 616 I want to develop, because the Kodak Six-16 I've had for 45+ years or so deserves to be properly fed.

(I can also use it with 120, if I futz a bit).

Paid $4 at today's Camera Show and Swap.

A Bakelite EA "Bullet" camera - could not resist it for £5 at the Monday morning charity table sale, mostly because I could see it had a film still in and therefore must have a pair of 127 reels.

The film (Gevaert Pan Panchromosa Microgran) was unfortunately blank, but the camera mostly works, the reels have nice brass spindles and its very cute. I'll make a slitter sometime, but in the meantime probably load it with 135.

I suppose I should really have haggled them down to 30p, seeing as they are a charity and all ...

Pinhole

It was very charitable of you to relief them from all that junk.
And now - as your personal punishment - go shoot a digital camera for the rest of the day!!

Nikon F4 body with MB-20 and P screen for $50, plus tax. Why so cheap? Some LCD bleed in the upper LCD. Lower LCD is fine. Also picked up a MD-4 for the former BradleyK F3HP for $25, and a DK-18 eyepiece adapter for the same.

I just got a Zarya from Ukraine. It must have had a CLA recently because it's Leica smooth (I know some will say that is a heresy) and the shutter settings look good. I'm going to develop my test roll from it as soon as my son gets the dishes in the dishwasher.

I purchased a Frog Tongue the other day. It'll be used with Impossible B&W film in my SX-70.
