Paid for the repair to my OM 24/2.8 ... Came back from John Quantick at Black On White looking as if brand new.

Picked up a very nice 5x7 2D (the lens pictured I've had for awhile):

At the Denver Photo Swap meet

- Mamiya C33 body with a 250mm lens. I probably paid to much and shouldn't have bought it, but was thinking to complete the lens line and get a backup body. The shutter will definitely need a CLA and the body, while very nice cosmetically, has a sticky winder.

- An outstanding deal on a Zeiss 523/16 that looks like new out of the box, and has probably been in somebody's closet for 60 years. Shutter speeds are a little slow and I can't wait to get it CLA'd and start using it as a daily shooter. It would go nicely with one of those accessory rangefinders mounted in the cold shoe.

Another M49 yellow and yellow-green filter for my OM, literally new apart from it had spent 30+ years in a cupboard somewhere.
Cost me all together a generously calculated 4 USD kind of equivalent in HUF. [emoji2]

1000 feet/305 meters of Kodak Direct Duplicating Microfilm 2468. You can shoot it at 0.6 ASA and get great results. Now I just have to wait for it to arrive.

Ah, now you're talking.
I have one too. These Devere's are nice, aren't they? (and big and heavy ...)

Not exactly a "purchase" but when I visited my lab today to drop off 13 rolls of film to be developed (C-41, E6 and B&W) I was given 2 unopened boxes of Agfa RSX II sheet film (slides, E6) in 13x18 cm format (about 5 1/6 x 7 1/8 inch).
It expired in 2004 but was cold stored. He kept it to give it away to someone who could use it and he gave it to me.

I must have a few 13x18 sheet holders somewhere. So my next project will be building a pinhole camera around these holders and test the film.

I never used Agfa RSX before. Any experience around here?

How does one go about shooting a 0.6 ASA film? Is that 7 or 8 stops slower than iso 100? What kind of subjects do you use it for?

100 - 50 - 25 - 12.5 - 6 - 3 - 1.5 - 0.7
It would be (about) 7 stops.

After my Pentax 67 II got stolen with all its lenses + photopack, I bought the whole gear "new" again
over the course of a couple of months. Weird feeling, testing a camera you've had for years and being surprised at the results.

A Nikkormat EL (the first film camera I ever had), a pre-Ai Nikon 24mm f/2.8, a bulk roll of HP5+, a 10-roll hard case for film, and a few packs of Adorama 4x6 glossy fiber paper for postcards.

Sunpak RH-1 ring light head for the 622 Super flash units. Also picked up an SH-1 standard head. Both brand new in box.

Sunpak Auto 322D with the STD-1D interface module. Like new, with instructions. Always nice to have a small Sunpak unit available, but the main reason to purchase was to get the LN interface. It will be used with my Sunpak Auto 120J bare bulb unit, and the current beat-up interface will become the backup unit.

Can't be too careful when buying into discontinued systems.

a Stouffer 21 step xmission wedge.
it cost me $17 (about £11) delivered direct from the manufacturer in TX to my door in the UK.
If I'd bought it from a UK supplier, it would have been over £22 (say about $35)

It was a couple of separate purchases because I had no film photography gear at hand so feeling naked with no film gear at all it was a Leica FIIIa and Lens, Very nice - Thanks jnanian. 10 rolls of HP5 - Thanks B&H. Developing tanks and spirals - Thanks bjsmith7474. 1500' 16mm colour film stock, and 920' 35mm colour film stock - thanks mweintraub, and Ilford ID11 and Rapid Fix - thanks Woodward Camera.

And I still have no darkroom, in case I have not already mentioned it enough in other posts.

Found a Rolleiflex model 614 at an antique mall for $25 USD so bought some Instax film to celebrate.
