I just received the Ansel Adams sheet of stamps that I will have framed and mount it next to my Ansel Adams framed prints.

One (1) roll of Ekatchrome 100 from Central Camera Co. Chicago. At & $26 per roll, one (1) is it for me.
Oh, also, I just shipped One (1) roll Velvia and One (1) roll of Ektachrome to AgX Upper Michigan.
$Costly$ dark days these are....

I just received the Hasselblad Pro Shade (40231) with Bayonet 60 lens adapter ring from a Photrio member so my GAS has been relieved for at least 15 to 20 seconds.

Bought a gently used Mod54 4x5 film carrier for the 2x120 (aka "3-reel") size Paterson developing tank.

I've already got a Yankee Agitank that will develop twice as many sheets in only about 60% more liquid, but I seldom have twelve sheets to process at once and the Agitank requires 1.6 L for even a single 4x5 sheet.

On the other hand, I now have four working 4x5 Grafmatics, and a single Grafmatic is just right for the Mod54's 6-sheet capacity. So if I have one to develop, the Mod54 wins; if two, the Agitank gets 'em.

Now to find an efficient way to process 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 sheet film (since I have two Grafmatics in that size as well).

I have a Nikor stainless tanks and holder for 2.25x3.25. It also works with 6.5x9 and holds 12 sheets in a 500ml tank. its a bit fiddly to load, but I understand there was supposed to be a loading tool that mine no longer has that makes loading easier.

You might try using some card stock, slightly wider than the sheet film your using, so that it extends a half inch or more from each slot, or better yet, some cut of the heavier Yupo plastic feeling 'paper' and place, one (1) piece in every slot, which can help guide each sheet of film in and then be removed, letting you know that slot is loaded, as you make your was around the reel.

Cheers

@eli griggs I've got a couple waste sheets of 4x5 I can use to test loading the Mod54 in daylight. I still haven't fully gotten loading the Agitank straight; even with the film guide that came with it, it's difficult to be sure the film is going into the same position slot in the top and bottom plates. Two sheets in the same slot, and you get the dreaded "film touching" issues with no development and/or fixing in the contact area...

I recently discovered that one of my Ansco tanks is actually for that size sheet film - I thought it was a spiral but the reel contains slots for holding the sheets. Big surprise. Wish I'd known it sooner.

Wouldn't happen to have a model number I could search on eBay, would you? I can do 2x3 in my Agitank, but that's a lot of tank and a lot of liquid for such small film. I should be able to do six sheets or so in 500 ml. Of course, I could try to 3D print a set of plates for my Paterson tank...

Has anyone tried to print a horizontal rack for a printed tank with a longer than normal width than the sheet film, for tank processing sheet film by way of a half-rod or shaft rocker, printed or taped to the bottom of the tank's bottom mid-point, giving it a gental to aggressive rocking motion for developing films?

A baffled spout for emptying and a baffled slot for filling could be used for this rocking 'tea tank's or a pair of baffled tubes, connected to the bottom of the tank, could serve with one connected to a fast fill funnel and a simple hose clamp keeping the chemistry inside, until finished processing.

looks pretty much like every other Ansco reel.

If there is a model number, it would be on the outside of the tank, not on the reel. And it might be one of the standard Ansco tanks with the sheet film reel being an aftermarket accessory, too.

No model number but I was also mistaken. It's a Superb developing tank, not Ansco, but it's identical to the Ansco tank I have - and the Ansco reel fits in it. Bakelite slightly browner than the Ansco stuff, so I think the reel came with the tank.

Okay, I can set up an eBay search for Superb developing tank and see what I find. Thank for checking!

Try "Rite* " in your Google search as I think they made a few adjustable sheet tanks.

I'll look at my square tanks and such, as I have at least one that's adjustable in a reel that will fit a Paterson Sys.4 tank and the same for a square tank.

On my early post about a rocking "Tea pot" developing tank and racks, only one (1) hose opening, with a clamping device to hold solutions in is needed, with a removable funnel attachment, and emptying by way of the same hose, into fixer and developing jugs.a

An apparently unused chrome Nikon FA (with the insert still in the film chamber), a AI-converted 105mm f/2.5, and a 70-200mm f/4 Series E.

10 rolls of Adox HR-50. Great film, very sharp, finest grain, and suitable for near infrared.

And 100 sheet Fotoimpex Easy Print RC paper 24x30 cm for contact sheets.

Both from Fotoimpex.

Minox 35 PL. Given to me. Cute little camera. Four LR44 cells fit nicely in the battery chamber. Battery check light lit up. Ran a short roll of HP5 through it at EI 250. Mostly blanks, and a few thin frames.

A Dektronics Printalyzer Densitometer and a Stoufer TP4x5-31 transmission projection step wedge.

Now maybe I can do some proper testing for film speed and generate some specific time/temperature curves

I already have a Kodak Step Tablet No.2 step wedge, but the 3mm target size of the Printalyzer Densitometer is large enough to cause some inconsistency in density measurements due to the wedge step widths if you are not super careful on positioning.

Unfortunately, the physical design of the Densitometer makes visually positioning somewhat difficult, but with some use it may become easier.

I wanted a TP4x5-21 target, but Stoufer was out of stock. The Stoufer representative seemed puzzled that there had been a rush on these targets, but stated that they had started on making more.

I think it's proof that interest in densitometry is increasing...
