what waS your last photography related purchase?

Waiting on a Pre-Ani Speed Graphic in 3.25 x 4.25 inches, which looks to be in decent condition, given its age.

A Kodak booklet and some 2025 cells my Rozeann brought me.

I still have to find some 3.25" x 4.25" sheet film holders for cheap, but I'm happy that I already have some appropriate cut film holders ready to go and I'll be hunting up my mother box of 2" x 2" Written gels for a new pre-Ani bag to go.

Cheers all and, Godspeed.

P.S; I also picked up some Michael's deep box photo storage, about 8" x 10" or so, on sale at "Buy
One, Two Free".

For general storage of darkroom tests, contact sheets, these "Acid Free" boxes should be just fine.

About $9 at the store.

Got a couple rolls of Panatomic X in 120 off evilbay

Curious what you had done. I found that replacing light seals is pretty easy as it turns out.

Inside the A12's mechanism a spring broke and when winding the film, after a shot ,the 'thing' blocked halfway and the camera couldn't be spanned nor the lens's shutter.
So I had to take off the A12 to be able to span the camera.

I have replaced on many occasions the film holder's light seals, which happend rather a lot in the 43 years I work with Hasselblad (professionally and still the same camera).

It's not here yet but I bought a 39mm vented lens hood on eBay for less that $10 including shipping. I want to see if it is at all practical with a 50mm Elmar lens on a IIIf. In particular, how badly will the arms supporting the outer ring interfere with the view through the rangefinder? In the unlikely event that I can deal with it I'll started looking for one of the genuine Leica hoods for a halfway sane price.

I'm using a similar item in 40.5 mm on my 50 mm f/1.5 Jupiter (9?) Sonnar copy. Haven't processed any film shot with it, though, I'm way behind on my developing and scanning.

I've used these, they work fine. I've since found OEM bayonet (Cosina Voigtlander Zeiss) shades at a reasonable price, easier to stow.

A pro-pack of Portra 400, and a full CLA on a vintage Canon F1 (early version with the plain prism). The camera was basically a gift, so I didn't mind dropping the cash on the CLA, although the CLA was spendy because the camera needed a full overhaul. But now I have a very pretty F1 with a bunch of brassing and a 58 f1.2 to play with.

A ten gigabit data card for Internet on my cell phone, so I can visit and shift through Photrio.com.

The Small, Pre-Anniversary Speed Graphic came today with a Jena 135 lens in shutter.

It's very nice, though the shutter lube is a bit stiff and the focal plain shutter needs tensioning.

I am very happy with this camera, and I'll enjoy shooting it once I have an adequate number of 3.25 x 4.25" sheet film holders to use with it.

Cheers!

a Cambo device to mount a Mamiya digital back to a Sinar 4x5. I suspect it would also mount a Mamiya 645 film back as well. Its got a ground glass and a sliding mechanism to focus on the glass, and slide the back into place to take the picture. I have a F that I don't really use (prefer the Norma) so I may make this the permanant back for the F.

I got a Cambo adapter board for Linhof and a stack of Linhof boards and just this morning converted the last lens to Linhof. It saves almost 2/3 the space in the backpack and compatible with the Wista I have coming. I don't think the Wista will focus the 600mm though it is back on the Linhof board it arrived on.

A 13 inch printer so that I can go hybrid if necessary, and so I can print color in-house.
I’m discovering that photo printers have come a long way in 20 years.

That's a bit digital for this section but I have a P800 that's incredible. I'd never go back to C prints.

Fujinon W S 250mm f6.7 lens with inside writing and 2 ea. 8x10 film holders are winging their way to me from Japan and New Jersey respectively.

I hope this lens will be a good all around lens for 8x10 with a bit of movement; Supposed 398mm image circle @ f22.

It appears to be a good compromise in focal length and well respected on several sites.

Shopped around and found a good price; fingers crossed.

I bought a big, strong case to store (and carry?) the Fuji GX 680 III kit I recently bought. The case weighs even more than the kit itself, so all packed we're talking about 12.9 Kg... Good exercise.

Last purchase for me was a Bronica S2A with never-ready case, a couple lenses, prism finder, grip, 2X converter, hood and more.
I primarily wanted the Bronica attaché case and figure I can sell the extra stuff I don't need and maybe come out even.
Fortunately, the seller wrapped all items individually in plastic bags because the velvet-covered 50+ year-old foam had completely deteriorated and a fine gritty yellow dust was everywhere inside. Just awful.
A little cutting and vacuuming and stuffing with a bit of soft foam and its serviceable.
