28mm Leica Finder.

I discovered “camera street” in Taipei and felt I ought to buy something.

Much cheaper than US! 🤓

Went to David Chan Co the other day but resisted temptation… this time.

Thanks, I ordered 3 purple caps from him. Very responsive. I also asked him about LTM body caps but he didn't have any files for those. I might try to find files sometime.

@cramej You're welcome. LTM is Leica thread mount or a M39, correct? Take a look at this one LTM/M39 or this one. I have no connection to the file links. I remember seeing an example a day or so ago while searching for 3D printed photography items. Good luck.

A 18x24 cm box of Ilford MGRC paper. Will see if it is any good.

And, for the 2x3 Grafmatic, just ordered a box of .EDU Ultra (= Fomapan) 400 in 2x3. I wanted to get HP5+ but apparently it's a special order item from the annual custom cut, and Freestyle's page shows I have to order it by last August to get it shipped at the end of last year. Seems it would behoove them to update that (or make it clear they bought some for stock and can ship it immediately, if that's the case).

Yeah, I have 2–one for Arista 100 and the other for 400. They made me realize how useful 3 or 4 of the 4x5 models would be. I’ve been thinking of buying some of the later Fuji clones. (Just because they are less old.)

As far as me—12 rolls of 120 Kentmere 100 and 12 rolls of 120 Kentmere 400. I loved the 100 in 135, and liked the 400 but felt it was a little grainyer than I liked. In 120 it should be fine. And it’s even cheaper than Foma at the moment.

It was having three of the 4x5 version that inspired me to get a 2x3 model, even though 2x3 is down to three to five emulsion choices (I still plan to get some HP5+ next custom cut season, it pushes further and better than Fomapan 400). I've got a belt pouch made to carry four regular 4x5 film holders, and it'll hold three Grafmatics -- more than doubling the film capacity.

Just got a bottle of Arista Premium Liquid developer. Got a couple of films I want to test this and see if it would be a good replacement for D-76 for certain films.

A Graylab 500 enlarging timer, from Beau Photo, for less than $35.00 CDN tax in.
Which finally gives me the combination I've wanted since I sold my Ilford Multigrade 400 equipped D6: - a timer, with digital display, usable with a foot switch, that also has a safelight outlet.
My other timers were all missing something.

The other useful thing to go with the baby grafmatics is a Nikor dev insert. It holds 12 sheets--so 2 grafmatics--and fits in the small 120/2x135 metal tanks. I got it from someone here. and its much easier to load than the other 2x3 dev things I have.

Eliot Porter: "In the Realm of Nature" (Getty, 2012). Reproduction quality is generally awful in this. Copies in Eliot Porter: "Eliot Porter" (1987) blow them away. I will be returning it.

I already have a Yankee Agitank for my 4x5 sheets, and it'll take up to 12 2x3 sheets instead (with about half the liquid) with a ten second adjustment. Alternatively, I can buy 3D printed inserts (or download the files and print my own) to fit my existing Paterson tanks and not have to find my stainless tanks and deal with the slow fill and drain times.

Escaped the barn. For decades been using the clumsy barn door lens shade for Leitz Summitar lens. It was made and marketed a dozen years requiring odd ball filters and lens shade. A mystery why, for all those years, snout of lens not modified for normal shade and filters. Finally got Summitar to series 6 filter adapter, added a series 6 Tiffan lens shade. Makes an easy to carry package with Leica IIIc. Total cost less than $10. My IIIc must have once belonged to somebody important, since it is one of the first 150 post war cameras produced.

I received the Nikon NIKKOR f/3.5 15mm AI-s last night. Now I want to figure out if I can chip it [add the electronic connections to the aperture, not chip the glass] or if I will have to have some one do it for me. I am not sure that there is a good surface to mount the chip in the proper location.

Received Ilford Rapid Fixer 500ml, 4oz sodium metabisulfite, & 4oz ferric chloride powder. I want to try a different b&w reversal that doesn't require having to re-expose the film off the reel. I have a hard time getting the film back on the reel.
