I had one of those Auto focus enlargers, 40 years ago, I still have the negative carrier and the heat absorbing glass. Thing weighed more than 100 lbs, cast iron!

I bought a Canon 55mm 2x yellow filter to use with my Canon FD 35mm f2 Thorium lens, because I'm starting to shoot more monochrome film, because colour film is becoming so expensive.

I have an older, grungier version of that easel in the dark stained wood finish rather than the painted gray. Watch out for that spring loaded arm! I wasn't careful once and it shot up and were it not for a bit of good luck, it might have knocked out or broken my front teeth. Instead it just gave me a good solid whack under my nose.

Two boxes of CatLABS X80 II. Looking forward to taking this stuff out for a run. I wish I had some Panatomic-X to compare it with... Sadly, that stuff was gone before I started taking photos. But... I do still have some Type-55! Hmmm....

Two Double8 ->120 cinelargers, one in 645 and the other in 6x8(?); something called a 'Kodak 16mm 71173'; and a 616/120 film adapter.

6 1/8” f4 Verito, sounds like fun. What format are you shooting it on?

Roger

Hi, Roger,
It's classed for 3x4, but it covers 4x5.
(It actually says that in the Wolly catalog.)
I mounted it on my 4x5 Anniversary Speed Graphic, and it illuminates 4x5 nicely...and if the corners are soft, so what? It's a Soft Focus lens!
I haven't shot with it yet, but I'm REALLY looking forward to it.

Four small bottles of TEA.
Fomapan 4x5
Tannic Acid

PC-TEA developers have always interested me, but I never fully understood the heating to over 100°C.
I mix and keep the Phenidone in Isopropyl alcohol, because such a small amount is needed, and wonder about the adding of it in such a hot liquid.

The bottle of TEA I have standing in my darkroom is nearly liquid in the summer because the darkroom heats up a bit above 30°C (it's on top of the buiding)...

Can that heating be omitted?

I mixed up my first batch of 510-Pyro at 80C. When I mix up Pyrocat-HD, I heat up to 52C. The next batch of 510 I make, I'm going to try a lower temperature. I like that video of Jay de Fehr mixing it up... where he dumps everything in, then heats it all up on a hot plate. To what temperature he heats, he doesn't say... but I'll bet it all goes into solution before 80C!
