After having to get a refund on the (grossly non-functional, despite "verified and tested by a professional photo shop" -- watch out for "3/10 remaining" I guess) 1983 Kiev 4AM I just received, I just bought a 1955 Kiev 2 from a different seller, freshly serviced in June of this year. Double the money I've paid for any of my other Kiev bodies to date, but if it's got good shutter, rangefinder, and film transport all in the same body, worth every penny. And that'll be Yet Another Jupiter 8-M. Maybe I should look for a Contax mount stereo camera. Shouldn't cost more than ten thousand bucks or so...

Just arrived, the Nikon N80 boby posted FS by fellow forumite @cramej a few weeks ago.

Hmm... don't know why I got the N80, when I have an N90s, but here it is. As my sister says, you only have two hands - she does not know about tripods!

Next: mix the Eco Pro dev. soup into StopLoss bags, which also came in.

Note: I did not know about any of it before joining the forum. It is all your fault!

When I joined APUG I owned one camera and one zoom AF lens.
The I inherited a Mamiya C330f.
I traded in the Mamiya and its three lenses to buy a Hasselblad and a lens.
Then I bought another Hasselblad lens.
Then I bought a 20mm to 35mm AF zoom lens.
Bought more Hasselblad lenses.
Bought an enlarger.
Bought a drum dryer.
Bought more Hasselblad lenses.
Bought a Pacemaker Speed Graphic.
Bought a Graflex Model D.
Bought more lenses.
Bought a Fisheye lens.
...
You have no idea how much trouble you have gotten yourself into. Mercy on your bank account, credit card and your credit rating.

Oh, and one other thing... I found a replacement body for my Lomo Belair X6/12 that was misbehaving. Price was too good to pass up, and so now I have a spare as a backup just in case.

I have had lenses that I was not particularly interested in, be offered at such a low price I could not pass them up. Some of them get used much more than ever thought.

Tired of walking funny with one shoulder hunched and a sore neck at the end of the day? Is that the 20L Tenba?

Get rid of the truss and trade in these heavy cameras for a Hasselblad system.

Yup. I've had that satchel since 2009. The Tenba is the 24L. It's got enough space in the main hold for the body with prism, 3 mags, 3 lenses (one of them can either be the 350 or the 200 zoom), and then all accessories in compartment up top. Going to give it a trial run on little road trip next week.

I would have to let too much gear go before my wife would allow it.

There is a thread on that. "I got it at a great cost savings." or "It followed me home." Either way you will be better off and much happier.

Nice Leotax FV, a ratty looking Hektor 13.5cm, nice Elmar 90mm, ratty looking FED 3 that is now adjusted and working (I think), nice Zorki 6 that needs work.

The Leotax is soooo much nicer than the FED and Zorki but I'm more inclined to open up the Soviet stuff to fix it. I'd love to get proficient at repairing some of the Leicas and clones. I even have a broken Bronica S2 to work on and see if the winding gears can be upgraded.

I don't know about being better off... I love the bigger negative. And I can switch to a 6x8 back if I want to.

Today I am expecting delivery of a Voigtländer Kontur viewfinder to go with my Vito II. I also have an offer in on Ebay for a Nikkor AF nifty fifty for my F-801s.

I used a range finder with my Voigtländer Vito IIb when I first started using it with ISO 64 film but ended up estimating the distance and using a smaller aperture to get the greater depth of field as a safety margin. Using ISO 400 film eliminated the need for a range finder.
