I wanted something other then the original box to store the Lomo Graflok I have. After some looking the Domke F-902 looked like it would work. Its close to the perfect size and can hold the back, spacer and a spare pack of film. It also has a strap to attach it to my bag.

A lens bag has been on back order for months, so I had Adorama replace that order with a slightly more expensive one that they will ship shortly.

Just saw a zone vi field camera, the one with changeable bellows ( looks like a wisner) with a caltar 150, meter, holders, and backpack for 875 on ebay, hopefully a dealer doesn't get it, I can't justify buying it myself...

Miraculous event, Samy's camera had 5 rolls of Portra 160 in 35mm. I've been looking for the 3 weeks for Kodak color negative, especially Portra 160, my favorite color negative film...

A 35mm roll of Agfa Superpan, expired 1984. Now normally I don’t bother with old, unpredictable materials, but the box was perfect, the cassette reusable, and the price agreeable. A quick test strip suggests it may actually be usable.

But, the more interesting bit, it was part of a giant haul being sold in a local shop. Someone was a 1980s portrait photographer with a fortune in Hasselblad, Leica R, and high end studio lights. They also had a thing for Portriga, likely fogged now, sadly. But, among the half-used packages, was one containing some 16x20 prints, landscapes surprisingly. And it was upon seeing them that I finally understand the allure of the fabled Agfa papers. Beautiful tonality and surface texture, like looking beyond the photo itself. I have never felt bad about not using those old papers, but now I do.

Paterson Orbital, unused NOS.

I plan to modify this to allow semi-stand development of four 4x5 sheets using pyro (i.e. base epoxy blobs or similar, longer pegs and "de-finning" of the top plate). Up to this point I've always used an SP-445 tank, and have generally had good success with it. However I've found it isn't completely ideal in a number of ways. Firstly I've found small leaks are almost unavoidable with it due to the design of the top plate. Occasionally one or more sheets can also escape the retaining lugs on one side during development, causing surface marks/residues on the negative. I've also found with Ilford films that the backing side of the sheet can get marked slightly by the shallow stippling on the tank film holders; something which does not appear to happen with Kodak films (maybe Ilford uses a softer base material?). Finally, when using staining developers the retaining lugs appear to prevent staining in the areas where they contact the film. Admittedly these are in the rebate area, but it still annoys me. My hope is the Orbital (once modified) will circumvent all of these issues.

A junk 65mm Sekor (TLR version). Got it cheap because the glass is trashed. What I want is the shutter and the lens cap. Going to remove the shutter and do a stripdown/rebuild.

There's a bunch the GAS is strong lol

But the one with the most recent time stamp would be a 48L dry cabinet that's normally $266 for just over $200 Canadian after tax on a prime Day deal.

Caught a batch of "fresh" Fuji 400H 120 from an eBay ad below the forum the other day, ordered five rolls of this discontinued treasure (seller is a reputable photo retailer, though not one I normally visit online), around $9/roll plus shipping. Tracking says it'll be in my mailbox today.

Stoploss bags for finally making my Legacy Pro developer bought months ago.
It sounds like I should have considered adding the dedicated funnel..??

So, soon to be new developer I never experienced before. Still at baby steps stage, here.
Caffenol and Rodinal may take a backseat for awhile, unless best suited for a given film, even though they are easy to use. I should make a decision tree...

I bought a very cool 5cm f2 Nikkor for LTM, my guess is that it is from early 1950's. Great lens, nice and chunky, brass with chrome. Japan seller is a good one, only charged $28 FedEx from Japan. These lenses are plentiful and usually $300 or less. I can't afford vintage Leica glass, I have a screw mount Summicron collapsible, I sent for a CLA.

Jay had contacted me about the StopLossBags™ after seeing one of my posts about them. They have made it much easier to extend the life of the stock XTOL and the replenished XTOL by squeezing out the air from the container.

The wine bag/boxes I have let me do that just once, on filling, and then dispense from a spout in the bottom. I can see it being tricky to dispense as little as 70 ml, but if I get 75, I'll be ahead to just discard the excess. My tank solution lives in a PET bottle that's just filled up to the top.
