Nikon Nikkor 70-180mm f/4.5-5.6-D AF-ED. Been looking at one of these for a while. KEH had one in "EXC" condition. Now, it's mine. Made a couple of test shots, and it seems as sharp as Ken Rockwell and others have noted. Need to add the 6T and get some 1-1. Serial # puts it ca. 2004.

Sorry for the slip up. Copied the wrong image. Fixed.

Bought a Moskva 5 (6x9 coupled RF folder with 6x6 insert) from the "For Sale" section here. USPS says it should be here tomorrow. Had one of these in the early 2000s, traded it away. Now I'll get to do a side-by-side comparison with my 1927 Voigtlander Rollfilmkamera...

I was just given a Rodagon 50mm 2.8 enlarger lens through Freecycle.
Looks new. I am not worthy!
Now I have an alternative to the EL Nikkor, or use the EL on the B22.

Interesting how there seems to be a provision to capture light above the lens mount to illuminate aperture ring!

I bought a Cambo to Linhof adapter board but it's a chinese copy of one and has to go back. The board is loose when mounted in the camera, free to move during exposure and the slide lock doesn't work.

So I've got this new lens Still Not On The Camera. I've got a 65mm hole Cambo board coming from KEH to take the #3 shutter but I already have a Cambo to 4x4 adapter board torn down and will mill some fittings tomorrow to make it work temporarily. I also need to make a spanner. The ones I found online would require removing the rear element and I would rather not if I don't have to.

Good score!

The illuminated lenses are lost on me. I've had the same model enlarger for 50 years now and my hand will open the iris and count clicks down almost without thinking.

Bulk chemicals to make my first salt prints.

2 x Nikon Printing Nikkors; 105mm f2.8 and 95mm f2.8mm. I have been wanting these lenses for over 3 decades, and now I have them...

George Tice book and photograph through a recent Kickstarter. An 8x10 silver gelatin contact print, how cool is that!!! Oh and as I continue down the Nikon rabbit hole a picked up a nice 24mm f2.8 ai lens and a PK-13 extension for my 55mm Micro Nikkor.

I just picked up an Olympus OM-2n in very nice shape (CLAd and new light seals). Anxiously awaiting arrival. Now my Zuikos will have a functioning film body to attach to again.

Purchased a Canon AE-1 with a Tamron SP 35-80mmF compact zoom lens.

The camera's mirror locks up on firing, and the lens on the viewfinder is partially broken. May end up being a parts camera. But for $20, the lens itself was worth it.

Haskins Posters by Sam Haskins.1972 . Limited edition gold hardback , mint condition, number 6/1500. Signed by Sam and bought from his own collection. A little bit lovely.

couid be a give away, freebee, book, equipment, film, chemistry
just something related to making photographs, or thinking about making photographs ...
I bought a Labbox daylight loading tank so I can load film without a darkroom and one-handed.

A beat up but still functional MD-12 motor drive, and a Micro Nikkor 105mm f2.8 with a stiff focus ring for $10 each at a good will store. Just missed a 75-150mm zoom (also $10) to the guy in front of me. Can't have them all...

I'm already a convert to using the MD-12. It makes controlling a big lens like the 55mm F1.2 on my FE so much easier. The added weight is offset by the much better grip.

Gonna have to work on the 105mm's focus ring, but it's a heck of a nice lens otherwise, and very useful.
Interesting, as i need to sell the MD-12
I have both types i guess. One is more of a "Winder"........and the other shoots 2 or 3 Frames/Sec

Four score shipped, from the fleabay. Replacement bulbs readily available for $8 a pop.

I'll have to cut 16mm masks for mounting in 35mm slide holders but the entire outfit is eminently portable.
