The Art of Black & White Photography with Instructor: Nathan McCreery at the Photographer's Formulary http://www.workshopsinmt.com/ and then bought Pyrocat HD in Glycol, TF-4 and some other chemicals from the Photographer's Formulary. I visited National parks and National Wildlife Reserves both going and returning.

A package of Perceptol, a 49mm rubber lens hood (my old one fell apart), four Paterson ring binder/storage boxes and processing for 14 rolls of color film I shot at the Coney Island Mermaid Parade.

Random box of "as-is" Minolta items from KEH on eBay. Ended up with 7 cameras, 5 are various Maxxum models, one 126 model and one 35mm p&s. All appear to be working in some fashion. Included 3 70-210 lenses with hoods, 3 std zooms and a battery grip for a 700si.

Mounted one of 35-70s on the 700si with the battery grip and a Sunpak flash I'd gotten in a separate deal from KEH. I'll call it $10 for the 700si ready to shoot. $6 for the body, lens and grip (44/7), with $4 for the flash. Batteries, film and filter cost way more than the camera

Now to detail clean and test the other 6.

Another large front mounting Thornton Pickard roller blind shutter, can use this one with a 480mm Apo Ronar.

A mint KW camera case yet to determine for which model possiblty a Paktica, not a Praktina though. Also a cheap 230mm f7.7 Extar needs the shutter repaired or changed but it;s a UK Compur/Prontor #0 size version.

Peak Anastigmat 4x loupe, 2nd hand. Looks practically unused but got it for a real bargain (about 1/5th of its new price).

135mm f/4.5 Hektor. Focus is very smooth. Glass is perfect. Maybe it's crazy to use 135mm on an M3, but this lens was of such high quality and something like this will never be made again, I just wanted it. I will have to seek out opportunities to use it.

My latest purchase is a custom-built vacuum easel for up to 24x30 and 30x40 inch prints. I own a nice ByChrome vacuum easel that's been a joy, but wanted to go bigger. I was horrified by the prices of used Saunders and similar 20x24" easels, and I prefer making borderless prints, so when this baby came by at $75 I couldn't resist. In real life its in perfect condition and built even better than my ByChrome vacuum easel with formica; the vacuum slots and holes are just right. The only catch is that I had to pick it up in person several hundred miles away on route to visiting my extended family, but the owner was gracious enough to hold it for me for several months until I could - the sucker is BIG and HEAVY! What looks like yellow lines are really vacuum slots and the holes are drilled in inner area.

At one point I priced out a professional custom built 30x40 vacuum easel just out of curiosity at $1750 USD from Systematic Automation, but at $75 this seemed a bit more reasonable LOL.

Now I just have to decide how I want to process the larger 30x40" prints. I can do up to 20x24 by tray, but the 30x40 will be a new challenge.

1941 Kodak Reference Handbook. Kodachrome section lists Weston and GE meter speeds. Daylight works out to about ISO 10.

John, I just got the 75mm with it and the leather case. Did not know anything about it until I did some research so I was impress to discover they made a tele for it. Now to get the shutter a little more consistent.
