As a developer or a toner?
I think he mentioned this on the other forum/thread and I asked that same answer, the reply to my recollection was as "an emulsion"
I posted earlier that I bought a very rare lens but wouldn't say more until it's in my hands. I have it now but the aperture is very stiff and it looks like there's some edge separation. I'm thinking having it properly restored is worth ever penny. What do you folks think?
This is a 112mm Suter Basel Series IV f/12.5 Anastigmat that, according to the Vade Mecum, is only two or three known to exist in the world. I don't know if this is one of two referred two in the V-M or if it's a third example. This pic is of just the front cell. The barrel is soaking to (hopefully) loosen the aperture and the rear cell is set to the side.

Do any of you know anything about this lens?

Nothing fancy. Just some 120 Print File negative sleeves, and some black and white film. Sending in a check for some more film developer this week too.
The old school payment method.
I sent off a money order for some 52MM filters today.
Sending a check??
Why is this special? I mean besides its rarity as in the only made two or three, why is it special what about it makes it better than other lenses? Thanks. Also you soaking your aperture blades? Is that safe?
Haha I know what a check is I just don't understand sending one out to buy developer. I'm surprised, many places don't accept checks because too many people wrote bad checks.
Stone, these days paper checks are treated like bank cards. The recipient scans them and payment is electronically debited from the sender's account immediately. Some people prefer payment by check for their type of record-keeping. Others prefer to send money orders to prevent ID theft.
And I prefer paying by check sometimes when payday is a couple days off and I want something NOW. And in those cases I throw a fit if they scan it and treat it as a debit card. If I wanted to use a card I'D USE A FREAKING CARD.
