I have Zeiss Contax with a 50mm f1.5 Sonnar but I don't use it much because the viewfinder is so small and difficult for me to use.
This is similar I think. In fact it is practically the same camera. I keep hearing people calling it a Contax copy, but rather I would say it is a Contax derivative.

Correct, Ian the Russians gave the workers at the Zeiss factory in Jena 24 hours to pack and told them you will either come, or you can remain here dead, they also took all the plant and machinery with them but curiously didn't take the glass.Well of course it's a derivative, the Russians shipped Carl Zeiss Ikon tooling etc and some personnel to the Ukraine to make the Kiev cameras.
