Mine is Flektogon 50mm for Pentacon Six. Never really shot anything yet with that lens. ;-) I feel its bit too wide

I feel the 50mm on my Hasselblad is like a 28mm on my 35mm Nikon. I use the 50mm a lot on the Hassy, but never use the 28mm on the Nikon — I usually go from around 21mm (for tight spaces) directly to 35mm (for general use).

My favorit 28mm is Zuiko f/3.5. But FOV for the equivalent is bit different in 6x6. That said I have to give a good test in the spring.
 
  • Some fixer w/ hardener to develop some of Nodda Duma's plates.
  • A tiffen 812 warming filter to replace one I dropped at the top of a cliff and got lodged on a ledge about 20 feet below. I was too chicken to climb down and get -- it was muddy, slippery, and a fall would have been certain death... also I couldn't be sure it was possible to climb back up!
  • Some Porta 160

A Tamron SP 45mm f1.8 for my (cough!) d800 (cough!). Plus some filters and ten rolls of Tri-X. I was thinking of getting some Cinestill 50 to try out, but the amount of daylight around here makes shooting slow film impractical, putting it nicely.
 
Received today: One 5-liter jug of Ilford PQ Universal Developer (for film), two 1-liter bottles of Ilford Rapid Fix, two 5-packs of Acros100 in 120 size, and two boxes (25shts ea) of HP5+ 11x14 film. From Freestyle. Thank goodness it is only a couple blocks from the post office to home!

When I have to travel by air and must keep the weight down I take the 50mm and 80mm Hasselblad lenses. I used them for a month in France and a month in Greece recently although in Greece I took the SWC too.

the 50 and 80 is a great combination for the Hasselblad 500.enjoy!
 
I thought I was done buying things yesterday.... until I saw someone here selling a whole load of bulk B&W film. My day got a little more expensive!

One 400' roll of Eastman XX 5222,
One 400' roll of Eastman Plus-X 5231.
That should keep me entertained for a really long time.

But the Superwide is an amazing piece of kit-we had one in the equipment store at college and I probably used it more than anyone else!

Ha! We are never done buying things.

I just received my Turner-Reich triple convertible, 8.5/14/20, from a member at LFF. My 5x7 2D only extends out to about 13” or so, will need to rig an extended lens board to use the 14” configuration.
 
Don't know if this will work out or not. If it doesn't work I'll re-sell the thing. I am always looking for a better way to dry film with zero spotting and zero dust. I picked up a Honeywell Kleen Dri film dryer that I'll try our shortly. The method I'm going to try is one I read about previously. I do mostly 120/220 and cut my negatives in strips of 2 or 4 (2 because I sometimes scan them on my Nikon Super Coolscan 9000 when not wet printing or in addition to) - so drying on the reel, while film curls afterwards, should be less of an issue, I think (plus I put my negs in sleeved pages and that flattens them out after a day). The method I'm gong to try is after the film is developed, lock the reel(s) securely into a salad spinner and spin the water off (that was quite creative I thought to really get the excess water off well) . I'm not concerned about the film coming loose; I have film clips on on the end of my Patterson reels. Then drop the reel into the sealed KleenDri for 40-50 min where the unit has a silica gel container in the base that does the absorption.

I had one of these, but eventually sold it.
It's diameter means it only works with steel reels, so keep that in mind.
I had problems with the amount of curl it imparts to film - particularly 120. YMMV

Actually, I just received the Kleen Dri (looks unused). I tried a 120/220 plastic Patterson reel in it, and it fit just fine, so it doesn't take only steel reels. I use the Patterson reels with my PhotoTherm Super Sidekick. Maybe you were thinking of Jobo plastic reels, which are much largger. I don't use Jobo reels in my PhotoTherm Super Sidekick as the Jobo core holes are too small for the Sidekick tank cores.

Eager to try it out now.

Two bricks of HP5+ (36 exposure rolls), purchased locally. It's almost time to do a major B&H or Adorama order (I'm not sure who's turn it is...lol): I'm down to my last 11 rolls of PanF+ 120, and my Ektachrome stash is quickly drawing down (Chinese New Year in two-and-a-half weeks). Hoping to time my order with the arrival of the new E100 (fingers crossed).
 
Interesting, because the one I had was too small for my Paterson reels.
Maybe there is more than one model out there?
