Many of my 'most beautiful' have already been mentioned, but I'll add the Plaubel Makina 67 to the list as I don't think it's been mentioned yet. It's a little quirky, but there's something I find very attractive about this camera's industrial design. Maybe it's just me 🙂

I'm very partial to the styling of the black Olympus Pen FT. I think it's hard to beat. I would also like to grab a black repainted original Pen F with the gothic "F" one day. The Leica CL is also a nicely designed camera in my opinion. I love the compact size and the location of the shutter dial as it's easy to change speeds while still holding the camera at eye level.

I really love the design of the Plaubel Makina as well and would love to try one one day. I ended picking up a little compact Agfa Optima Sensor 1035 a while back as it shares a similar industrial design. I've seen it mentioned before that the same design firm may have been used for both cameras, but not sure of the accuracy of that.

Any camera which I one is the most beautiful by definition.

I like the way the Ricoh Auto Half looks:

Picture from ebay - because my Auto Half fell apart. I'd caution against getting one of these, since the plastic on mine was so brittle.

Anyway, it kinda looks like an old transistor radio.

Just for some data points: I've had two Auto Halfs and both were fine as far as the plastic went. But purportedly that trim around the VF/selenium cell *does* tend to break.

Couldn't agree more about the design, though.

Also worth noting that the lens is really quite excellent, also.

If you want to post some results this way please:

Canon F1n, (second gen F) in black with Sports Finder or, even a normal finder.

Lookswise...
35mm - I'm gonna have to go with classic leica m
Medium format - rolleiflex
Large format - Linhof technicas, Wisners, Ebonies, Deardorffs and Agfa/Ansco
