Photographs alone are enough, no more commentary is necessary.

+1
for black chromed Hasselblads with CF lens.
Saying so as Rolleiflex guy...

The Leica M4 and first M6 look great, too.

Tropen (tropical) cameras by Zeiss Ikon and Ica - nice but heavy teak and brass LF cameras.

Gandolfi Precision cameras...

I vote for the chrome Hasselblad 500C too, it was designed by the same man who designed the SAAB 96 V4 (and some of the Viggen aeroplanes).

I think we're getting into the realm of fetish. But I'll go for the Barnack and the Hasselblad.

I really love the look of the Contax II(a) and Nikon S-series rangefinders. I think I might put them at the top for me, even though my S3 is far from my most used camera.

Leica M4
Nikon F
Hasselblad V series, chrome w/ wlf
Deardorff V8

This is a good list IMO. I would pick the F2 with the unmetered prism instead of the F but the unmetered F is awfully close, and would specify that the Hasselblad be chrome and have the 80mm C (original style) lens rather than CF or newer lens series.

The first Contax RTS was nice, but I never handled one, only saw magazine photos.

Agree with you about the F2 w/plain prism. F2 is easier to use, still F is so beautiful.

The F really is a beautiful design. I just picked up a plain prism version recently and have quickly grown fond of it, despite its minor ergonomic niggles.
