What was the MOST BEAUTIFUL camera?

Right now I'm thinking this looks pretty nice:

I don't like the way the Canon logo is embossed. Looks cheap. Also it uses the more modern rendition of the "Canon" logo, where the earlier one was way more elegant.

Flavio, and I thought it is me who is critical....

LOL

I have had the chance to buy a good Canon Demi more than once and I did not like the finish, when comparing it to even the competing Olympus models.

The rounded corners appeal to me.

Nicely pocketable.

Not sure is the most.... beautiful, but she's sexy and original..... isn't it?

You want sexy?

Definitely different. By the way, "voskhod" means "rising" (noun) or, commonly, "sunrise" [ восход солнца" ], there's also "moonrise" [ восход луны ].

I was totally unaware of this camera. Yes, very, very unconventional.

(Though as with many other cameras I doubt it holds well. But I shall see. One day...)

Okay:

Yes, we're both on the same page then. I've done that myself.
Cheers

Beautiful? My Tachihara 810HD triple extension field view camera in Hokkaido cherry wood with gold anodised metal work. Not because I say it but because nearly every stranger who sees it for the first time says it.

I'm surprised more large format cameras are not mentioned in this thread.

The Tachiharas are GORGEOUS cameras.

Maybe because this is in the "35mm" part of the forum?

As I never click the "New posts" and only the relevant parts of the forum to me, I get to notice where I am.

I meant to include ALL formats, but didn't know where to post it.

In that case, I might add this to the list:

Never mind that they've trimmed the cable release socket and flash terminals away, this is all about looks, right? Just watching the top video makes me want to learn to build gorgeous presentation boxes like Hermes, and the leather doesn't look too shabby either.

So that's a $40,000 camera bag which looks just like a mini Billingham bag which looks just like a Hardy fly fishing bag. Are people really that stupid?

It's a rare (just 59.000 made) Soviet camera made between 50's & 60's.... One of the most original either as design or the way it works (the lever above the lens cocks the shutter and advances the film & film counter). It's a way Russian showed the ability to make self-designed cameras after year passed copying Zeiss, Contax & Leica models...... Mine is in very good condition (except for a little problem to the blades which is being fixed by a repairer) and I saw some shots made by a friend which seems very impressive....

I thought the kit included the Leica?

"Likely realizing that it would be insanely absurd to unload the M9-P for either price without lenses included, Leica has opted to offer both as complete kits. The less expensive version uses some fancy calfskin leather with a silver chrome finish, and ships with a Leica Summilux-M 50 mm f/1.4 ASPH. optic. The "very special" version, on the other hand, includes a Leica Summicron-M 28 mm f/2 ASPH., a Leica Noctilux-M 50 mm f/0.95 ASPH. and a Leica APO-Summicron-M 90 mm f/2 ASPH -- all finished in anodized silver. It also comes with a bag and a book."

I wouldn't be dropping 40k on it though - guess some people really do have more money than they know what to do with.

That is one sweet looking camera! (But I'm very partial to the Art Deco period.)
I'd love one of these - looks like I'm going to have to start looking at another purchase.

The Bantam has long been one of my favorites, however impractical they might be to use these days. I want to have a collection of Art Deco cameras just to sit on the shelf. The Bantam, the Flexaret, and the viewmaster stereo cameras are very much my style.
