Another 2 rolls of Superia X-Tra 400 developed with the Unicolor C-41 Press Kit + Kodak Final Rinse. I'm thinking about investing in a Sous-vide cooker to help me control temperature.

Two weekends ago I went to Armstrong redwoods to make a couple pinhole paper negatives for MSA. They looked pretty good but were a bit underexposed at 40m ( and one had flare from the sun hitting the pinhole ) so last weekend I went to another grove of redwoods to try again with a similar idea for composition and went for a 65m exposure. The negatives looked pretty neat but I wasn't happy with the positives and decided not to contact print it. The sun just managed to sneak in the top of the fov and make some veiling flare. I've got some color film with MSA shots, but not sure I'll send it in in time.

Some Bergger Panchro 400 in 120, 16 mins in ID-11 1+1 rated at 320. They look great (Rosslyn Chapel near Edinburgh is a really interesting place to photograph as well) and I'm looking forward to printing them. Lately, I've also been trying out some ADOX Silvermax 100-I think the speed marked on the box is more than a little optimistic and 64 would be better (11 mins ID-11 1+1) but definitely promising so far. I can't wait to try it in 120!

YAY! I printed today! I haven't had a chance to print since about April. I had three images accepted for a show coming up soon and I realized I hadn't printed one of them big enough, yet. Hubby and progeny went to a military vehicle show today and I got to stay home and print. The prints are washing now, but I may have the frameable version.

I developed 2 rolls of Acros 120. Took some RR and graffiti photos. Got questioned by a railroad guy, I was taking pictures of the tracks. He was doing his job. I've been going down to that area for over 50 years, we played down there near the water when I was 8 years old. I introduced myself to the young man. Maybe I get on his good side I can get hint to help me out.

2x Superia X-Tra 400 on Friday and 2 more this afternoon with the Unicolor C-41 + Kodak Final Rinse (Everyone should have a bottle of this stuff). I’m starting to have hang on temperature control, no more than 0.5C under the target temp which I consider good.

2x Fujicolor Superia X-Tra 400 in Unicolor C-41 press kit. The 1st roll was hanging when I realized I’d forgot to do the Final Rinse. So I loaded the wet negative on the reel of my Rondinax which loads from the center like a stainless reel. *thumbs up

For the last few days I have been trying to achieve optimal exposure and development of some outdated FP4+. To that end I rose early and shot a roll which I shall develop later. I suspect the film contains inherently higher contrast than those I'm used to, and RO9 (Rodinal) is not the best choice for the stock, which would respond better in ID-11.

After wading through Kodak lit, C-41 threads here, etc., I mixed up some color chemistry and developed 1 x 120 and 5 x 35mm rolls of film. A bit of a hodge-podge using C-41ra chem in Patterson tanks with constant agitation. Seemed to work fine. Negs look good. I don't process C-41 much. Life would be easier if C-41 kits had separate bleach and fix steps.

You're right-it would. I've never found Rodinal and FP4 to be an especially good match (compared to APX 100 and Rodinal, say).

Two rolls of Tri-X in HC110-B - of which one had a massive light light leak due to sloppy loading/unloading in my Mamiya C220

Today: a nice 9.5"x9.5" group portrait on Foma glossy fiber paper from a 6x6 Tri-X negative out of my Mamiya C220, which is the largest I can currently print. Did it on one sheet of paper too - test strips included (cut-offs for square format come in very handy)

Ooops.... I fell off this thread for a few months.

Yesterday: Two rolls of Rollei Retro 80s 135 in Rodinal 1:50, 14min @ 68F, gentle agitation, 1 minute pre-soak.
