A roll of PolyPanF in Rodinal 1+25.
Snaps of friends at a bbq. They came out great!

First time I used Rodinal, but I thinks I love it for slow films!

20 sheets of 4x5 film and a couple of rolls of 120 Acros. I've started using a 4x5 pinhole camera and it's so easy to use it's addictive. Results have been mixed, but I'm getting the hang of it!

3 more rolls of 10-15 year old expired color film, ambient temperature stored
and a roll of hp5+ .. expired, stored the same way ... all processed split in ansco130 + sumatranol130 ( also expired )

An old 8x10 TMY negative made about 5 years ago developed in Harvey's 777 printed on Ilford Multigrade Warmtone developed in Chinese amidol.

I just printed my first lith prints yesterday afternoon, what fun. I don't think a high contrast negative is a good candidate though. Will try more next week.

retina prints are one of the earliest photographic images made by the godfather of photography himself, nicéphore niépce.
i don't use silver chloride paper like he used but regular old photo paper or film in a camera i made myself ...
you expose the paper in camera for many hours and the image is stained on the paper, there can be difficulty in fixing them
because if developed in a conventional developer, they turn black from exposure, if fixed the paper turns white and removes the image ...
think of a solargraph, but instead of a pinhole image made in a camera left for months, it is in a regular old camera, left for a few hours
( i posted 2 images in the gallery yesterday ) ...

Worked on getting three good prints on 11x14 Ilford MG IV paper in Ilfoprint developer, think I have one dialed in, one needs more work, and one showed up blotchiness in the open sky when I tried to burn it in. That used up 14 sheets. Re-shot the one with blotchy skies and just developed seven 4x5 negatives in Pyrocat HD. I exposed duplicates which I will develop in my normal PMK Pyro for comparison. I was also experimenting with yellow and red filters (I normally don't use filters) so it will be interesting to see the differences once the negatives dry.

Yesterday I souped three Rollei RPX 400 in Spur Acurol-N, 1:50 for two films (normal contrast) and 1:40 for one film (low contrast), both 12 minutes. The negatives looked pretty good, but I'll wait with my judgements until I've printed contact sheets...

sure do!
and my skannmachine seems to not like electrifying them these days
so i i have lost maybe 6 or 8 of them due to equipment malfunctions

Fifty 6cmx9cm individually cut World War II negatives taken by a friend of a friend's father from Sonehenge to Egypt while serving in the army. Contact prints only since my enlarger only goes to 6x7.

The last thing I developed ? . . . An interesting story, and I'll try to keep it short.

Yesterday whilst making my usual rounds at one of the local thrift stores, I spied with my little eye this very large & ancient leather-covered case near the door as I was exiting. An item such as that is quite unusual for this thrift store. I also noticed a $65.00 price tag, which is quite high for this store. I removed the lid from the case, which was no longer properly attached, only to discover a WWI era Aviar 10-1/4" f/4.5 lens laying on the top of a British (The Midland Camera Co. Birmingham) 12" x 10" mahogany field camera, and five 12" x 10" mahogany book-style plate holders, all of which was wrapped up in yellowed paper. I almost wet myself. So, I took it home, and upon weighing the holders I noticed that two holders weighed more than the other three. Upon further investigation I discovered one of those holders had two sets of 8x10 and Full-Plate reduction frames stored inside. That was a bonus I did not expect. That then left one holder which I was hoping contained some 12x10 plates. And it did! One 12" x 10" dry-plate was inside the holder. So, I developed it. It has an image, but I really can't figure it out. My spouse says it's an image of the face of a woman. And that may be. Anyhoo . . . That was a fun experience, nonetheless.

BTW: This is by far the heaviest camera outfit that I have ever carried. I may have to rent-a-mule when I take it out into the field.

4 rolls of Orwo UN54+(lovely film) in DK76b(I got some 500g for Sodium metaborate) and print them on MCC 110 with Moersch Eco 4812 and Moersch Easy Lith(I am amazed).

* Any suggestion to use metaborate(since 500g may take few years to fully use it).

Dear Dann... lucky you....well done.

If anyone ever comes across an ILFORD Witness in a thrift store, buy it, let me know and I will be forever in their debt....and they sure would have plenty of film to shoot ! and paper to print on !
