what is the last thing you developed or printed

Last week, I finally managed to develop 6 sheets of 4x5 Delta 100 and then a 120 roll of Acros. The most recent shot on either having been in July. I still have 6 sheets of HP5+ waiting, but had to start mowing the yard today. If it rains enough tomorrow that it's too wet to mow, then I can do the HP5+.
Haven't printed since July '13 (since leaving PA) -

Haven't printed since July '13 (since leaving PA) -

I know the feeling - I didn't print for over 12 months for various reasons (some self inflicted). In the end, I got a little depressed about it....

Then the most frustrating thing of the lot? When I did my prints a few weeks ago, I got a heck of a rash on my hands. Generally, I use tongs for all the processes of printing, except once the print is in the final wash. The only thing I can think of is that I have had a reaction to the residual fix in the wash water....dammit, this means gloves for the final wash as well.

Here are a few of my latest prints. Some are reprints on different papers: 10x24 xpan or 24x24 rolleiflex...
Sorry for the crappy iphone pics... really a bummer next to the prints, which are so gorgeous I could eat them.

Very nice! 24x24 cm or inches? Where No.3 was taken? Some villages in Bosnia look like this .

Thank you!

Inches.

All taken in South Serbia except the last one which was shot in North America

I've been really short on darkroom time this year due to other requirements. Labor Day, I spent all day in the darkroom. Made several fine art type prints including toning. Also re-made three prints of my Grandson at a steam show. Seems my fixer was weak as the originals had brown stains. Also made a 5X7 of a local ice cream place for a friend, as he proposed to his wife there (40 years ago).
On the bad side - I developed a roll of Foma 200 taken in my Holga. When I went to put the developer in, I inadvertently removed the whole top instead of the little cap. CRAP! Yes, I did develop it just in case there was at least one frame, but there wasn't, it went in the trash.

cyanotype test strips, two drying, two printing right now. the sun's out

Monday I developed 2 rolls of Kodak SO-370 Traffic Flow Recording film in HC-110, came out great.
Friday I developed a found roll of 127 verichrome also in HC-110. Came out ok considering it was exposed in the 50's (as much as I can tell by the car with big fins). Also would have been better if I put enough developer in the tank (oops).

6 more rolls of 120 ...
kodak + classic pan
stand developed in sumatranol 130@ 30 mins

About 2 hours ago, 6 sheets 4x5 HP5+ in PMK pyro.

I'm just taking a break from developing by inspection half a dozen 5x4 of lith film, in very dilute d23 ... hoping to get something good enough to start trying small salt prints later this month.
darkrrom too damn hot

Some snaps from 1996 and 2010 on Portfolio paper. I'm thinking of switching to this paper completely.

more cynotypes

THAT is going to be an amazing show david!
i wish i was closer to you neck of the woods ...

Silvermax, Silvermax, Silvermax. In Adonal 1+25, in Xtol 1:1, in Pyrocat 1:1:100. Next: Atomal and Emofin - and again in Pyrocat when the new alkaline fixer will be delivered. Kind of obsessed to get the results I am dreaming of.

Yesterday evening, two pictures for a local group exhibition.

By the way, every autumm there is a photography festival in the small Spanish town of Ourense (Galicia) that is called "Outono Fotografico" (Photographical Autumm). A group of film photographers is taking part with a film only based exhibition, called "Falando en Prata" (that translated from Galizian to English means "Talking in Silver"). It is open to anyone who wishes to take part in it. The only condition is that no digital techniques are allowed in any part of the process. Once it is closed in Ourense, this exhibition is moved to other Spanish cities. There is a blog for it:

Dead Link Removed

This was one of the photographs I printed yesterday. It is a cell phone picture of the drying print.

The print looks promising - good luck!

I wish I could see the exhibition. Maybe there will be some prints online - I can't make it to Spain.

a few more rolls of 35mm and a handful of color 120 all processed together in split cofffee/130
