Since Kodaks future seems to be getting better over time, and they talked about this in recent past, what film would you like to see come back?
My votes are Kodak Plus X and Panatomic X. Now I understand why Pan X won't come back, since TMAX 100 replaced it, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see it return again.
But Plus X, a more likely return, is more a possibility. It was only last on shelves in 2012 (discontinued 2010-11), so its a more recent film that has a better chance of coming back. Though people say FP4 is similar, me personally, I dont find FP4 looks the same and doesnt have the really good midtones in sunny outdoor weather of Plus X. It also doesnt blow out in contrasty (aka sunny) situations. It also shows wood grain better then any other film I've used. So I'd like to see that come back. Im aware PXP was also produced, but had a different look then the roll films, and was more geared towards portraits.
I know this is a B&W forum, but for color- it would be Portra 400 UC. And maybe 100GX or even 100VS.
