Walgreens (Fuji) 200 shot on my Minolta X700 with my recently acquired Minolta Celtic MD 28mm/f2.8. What a great little lens...love it!

Recently had a go at new Portra 400 @ 3200 :D

Developed and scanned last night, but need to do some adjustments before determining whether I succeeded or not !

Grainy as hell, but got some good shots out of it. It feels like a colour version of HP5+

I'll up some snaps in one of the other forums (probably the colour file/dev forum) once I've corrected the scans.

Got up at 5:15 this morning to go hiking in the "high country" here and shoot the blooming rhododendron. I took the Minolta X700 and shot a roll of Kodak 400 UltraColor. I hadn't shot it since 2007, so hopefully the fridge has been good for the film.

I'm currently building a new tank for my water baths that is more up to date. It is pretty much finished, but I have mounted a thermostat to it and should be able to hook up the last electronics tomorrow so I can develop.....exciting times in the darkroom!

The new tank works great! The thermostat and heating element work perfectly. This roll also tested out my new Tiffen polarizing filter for the Minolta lenses. No vignetting on the shots taken with the 28mm, but it looks like the lighting was too harsh and gave a mostly blue cast in the images. It might have also been partly because of the Kodak 400 UC. I still got some decent shots, including several that I am really happy about.

Shot a roll of Ektar 100 in 120 format.

It was in a Zeiss Ikonta that I tossed into my suitcase for a business trip.

Konica Chrome 100

I just love this film. The color is absolutely gorgeous, still, despite it being probably 20 years old (been in my freezer since the early '90s.) I've bought this as Konica, Polaroid and other "house" brands, and it's probably been 10 years since any was made. I'm down to my last 10 or so rolls, and I'll miss it more than Kodachrome when it's gone. I haven't found any E6 film that makes me so happy.
