This post is more about what film I didn't shoot recently, I thought I shot a roll of 120 Fuji Reala yesterday, because when I opened the camera to remove the film it was empty! I had left an empty spool in the top film chamber so my Mamiya C330F operated as if it was loaded and I had forgotten to remove the film box end from the reminder slot at the back of the camera and I thought it was loaded ,this is the first time this has ever happened to me in more than fifty years I've been a photographer and I'm still kicking myself, fortunately I just shot the "film" while out for a walk and it wasn't important, the only thing I wasted was my time, but I do feel stupid.

I found a poppy field today. I shot a roll of Reala there and then my Father called and he told me he'd found a better field so dense in poppies it looked like 'blood'. I'm wondering now if I should go there with a roll of Agfa Ultra 50.

waltereegho, just checked out some of your HP5 shots. Really liked what I saw. I could only could find 400ASA but I'd like to know what developer you are using. This shot, no. 91, for example....

All I shoot these days is HP5. I've a few rolls of other stuff in the fridge but I've realised that HP5 is the one that gets closest to what I'm looking for. Still working out how to get the best from it.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm using D-76 with HP5+, even for pushing. At box speed, I do 13min with 4 initial agitations + 4/min (20°C). The shot you pointed out, however, was developed by a lab. I have no idea what they used, I guess they dip 'n' dunked in Xtol.

Just did a test between tri-x, t-max, delta, and hp5. Moving over to tri-x from hp5. I shot a good 75 rolls of it and it is just muddy no matter what i did.

for color, portra 400/160. It does everything i need it to do.

Dug this topic up on the sixth page. Is no one shooting film anymore?
Anyway, I burned through 2 rolls of Neopan 400 and a roll of Neopan 1600 yesterday. I have Rodinal and D-76 available, what should I develop in?

Managed to find a roll of VP828 which I shot, the usual result with such old film in HC-110 B, still images but not ideal. Been looking for a roll to get another spool and backing paper so I can copy the spacing onto some 120 backing paper. Then I respooled some unperforated K'odak Gen 2 (Portra 160NC June 2010 expired) from a long roll which worked great in the old Kodak Bantam 828 (Made by Kodak Canada, purchased by my grandfather in 1940).

Shot some bulk spooled Gen 2 in the Canon EOS 10S as well since it only needs perforations cut into the leader to start it.

And some Super XX 620 in the Kodak Tourist which was badly fogged. Verichrome Pan is still usable but such old Super XX is only worth the 620 spool sadly, which is what I expected so I only shot it for the heck of it while shooting other cameras at the same scenes.

FP4+ recently in the Mamiya RB67 ProS. I'm just amazed how well this enlarges to 16x20. T-Max 100 has finer grain but I'm not sure it is needed really and I love the tonality and contrast of FP4+.

Bought a pile of Shanghai GP-3 120, I like it, so far no problems with it, no pinholes or print through from the backing. Seems like the curling problem is tamable, just weight it and let it hang for 12 hours before enlarging.
