I'm in Cleveland, Ohio. There were some very small breaks in the clouds, and not completely clear breaks (and a lot of light pollution), but I managed to take some photos. The question is whether they will come out. I was just winging it, having a little fun.

Loony 11 works with a fully illuminated moon, for sure. It is sunlit after all.

The trouble is when the moon is eclipsed, like last night. My father was out with a 4x teleconverter on a 300mm lens, which made it f/16 max aperture. He needed ISO 51200 on a digital camera to get shutter speeds short enough so that the moon wouldn't blur by its (and Earth's) movement.

If you had a reasonably fast lens, ISO 1000 might be OK.

It kept clouding up and then breaking up last night, and I finally went to bed before it hit peak as I have a very busy day today again after teaching two weekends in a row.

I did put two rolls of FP4+ through my new-to-me Lomography Belair X6-12, and I'll run one more in the next day or two, so I can have enough to run a batch. Although its wierd exposure control system (shutter speeds you really can't control, only two apertures (f8 and f16) kind of limits the films you can use and will drive me to taking yet another film type with me for b/w shooting, it's not horrible as I already have a bunch of FP4+ in stock, and I can easily add some more Portra 400 to my inventory. I'm excited to see the results I get from the Belair.

This past week I shot Long expired Ansco Plenachrome in a Mamiya C3, Expired Kodak Gold (2003) in a Pentax ME and Ilford PanF Plus 50 in a KMZ FT-2.

Does anyone know what years Ansco Plenachrome was made? There is not much information about it on the internet but it seems that it was made from the late 1940's to the early 1960's. I metered it at around ISO 5 and Semi-Stand developed it in Rodinal for 1 hour with somewhat usable results.

Today I'll be experimenting with an old roll of Kodak Ektachrome 320T, cross processed, and a roll of Lomochrome Purple. Both 35mm, shooting landscape pictures. Should be a nice little break from the b&w work I normally do.

Good luck!

Further luck wished from me:wink:...I've just shot a load of Fujicolour 200 which was 10 years old and the results were pretty reasonable, so you should get something there.

I shot a roll and a half of Tri-X in my Mamiya 645 Super in Ann Arbor MI today while on a FPP photowalk.

Provia 100F 120 in the Mamiya C330S TLR during an early fall colors walk along an abandoned railroad right-of-way that has been turned into a walking trail. Always a pleasant afternoon activity this time of year. Just need to keep to the trail and not wander as hunting season opened on September 1st.

Had only the 80mm lens mounted, but found a couple of nice reflecting pool possibilities that would require either the 180mm or 250mm and a tripod. I'll wait a week or two for better color, then return to try those out with more appropriate glass.

Two rolls of Ultrafine Xtreme 400 in a handheld Mamiya C330 inside of Robert Bruno's steel house. It was a cloudy day with no electric light, so I wonder if I gave enough exposure.

I recently borrowed a colleague's Hasselblad, as I had never tried one and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I treated myself to using it for two films I similarly have never used: Velvia 50 RVP and some expired Agfa APX25 that I've had in the freezer for several years waiting for a special occasion.

Finished the last four shots on a roll of Tri-X thats been in my 645 Super since Saturday a few hours ago. Got done developing them a few minutes ago and I'm sitting there trying to figure out why the first 11 look fine but the last 8 are missing the very tips of all four corners. Then it dawns on me "Oh Duh" it's the lens hood. Even though my Mamiya hood says 80-110 I figured I could get away with using it on the 55mm lens, because I had read elsewhere that when they came out with the newer "N" lenses it was 55-110 hood. I have a 55mm "N" lens, but the hood is from my older "C" lens, apparently they changed something between the two and they aren't compatible.

The negatives look decent, but I haven't made contact sheets or enlargements yet. I was playing with some extension tubes for some, so estimating exposure compensation. I think I have 2 or 3 rolls of APX25 left.
