Do you use D-76, HC-110, Rodinal? What developer do you use?

I use Rodinal or D-76, depends on the film to be developed ( Rollei Retro 100 & Tri-X and, Ilford Pan F and now Adox/Efke films) and grain that I want to obtain in the prints.

I stick to PMK for sheets, hc-110 for rolls, and the occasional Rodinal binge.

D-76, MX, Rodinal, P'Cat HD, Diafine, Thorton's 2-bath; it depends on the film, size of film and circumstances. All are good, none are bad.

... for the past 2years +

caffenol c and caffenol c
ansco 130 mixed together ( caf130 )

Im in a "1 film, 1 developer" phase, and d-76 is the developer. When I feel I've served my time, or the temptation gets the better of me, Rodinal is on the short list for experimentation.

I nearly use Ilford ID11 all the time now and I'm quite happy with it.

TEX

Rodinal -50%
D76 - 20%
Microdol-X -15%
Xtol - 15%
Depends on film and the finalproduct.

TL-50 and Xtol

I use Kodak Xtol. After much testing and nothing really achieved, I decided to stick to one developer only. It does everything well for my needs.

T-max developer and Rodinal. I have used others but at the end of the day it comes down to what is availabe in the darkroom that has not spoiled.

That is a good phase to be in. I learned the most when I went back to this phase. Honing my technique gives me more benefit than fashionable materials.

Prescysol for everything now.

Steve.

I use Xtol 1+1, with Ilford HP5+ in small format, Plus-X in medium size and eventually I will use it for the Foma sheet film.

I use Rodinal 1:50 with HP5+ and FP4+, both in 35mm. It does what I need it to do, and I dont mind the grain. If i'm going to shoot 35mm and make 8x10 or 11x14 prints, there's going to be grain, and i might as well make the most of it  (or perhaps shoot Adox 20 or PanF, but I find those to be a bit too slow for most of my applications  )
