What developer do you use?

Do you use D-76, HC-110, Rodinal? What developer do you use?

I use Rodinal or D-76, depends on the film to be developed ( Rollei Retro 100 & Tri-X and, Ilford Pan F and now Adox/Efke films) and grain that I want to obtain in the prints.

That is a good phase to be in. I learned the most when I went back to this phase. Honing my technique gives me more benefit than fashionable materials.

I use Rodinal 1:50 with HP5+ and FP4+, both in 35mm. It does what I need it to do, and I dont mind the grain. If i'm going to shoot 35mm and make 8x10 or 11x14 prints, there's going to be grain, and i might as well make the most of it (or perhaps shoot Adox 20 or PanF, but I find those to be a bit too slow for most of my applications )
